It so nice to have a locally owned coffee shop in Waukee other than the chains. The coffee is much better and full of flavor. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Best coffee shop in Waukee, hands down! The lattes and mochas are always delicious and well crafted. The staff are very friendly. Internet service is fast. Highly recommend The CoffeeSmith!

Now this was a fun gem to find, I love the fun flavors and the perfect balance it was not overly sweet ( like the coffee chains make them ) I'm a traveler so I will be back.

Great place to grab a waffle iron grilled cheese sandwich and a coffee while I work. Many of the tables have outlets and the staff is friendly.

ALWAYS an amazing coffee experience! Great staff and a million times better than that LARGE coffee chain with the long line on Hickman.

Waukee's best java joint! No snobby baristas here. Crafted espresso is in the metro's top 3. Creative menu offerings. To-go brews are always sent out the door hot. The owner Nate is on frequently onsite. Easy access from Heart of the Warrior bike trail. I could go on and on....

Delicious!! My husband and I have a tradition on getting coffee and croissant breakfast sandwiches from here on Saturday mornings. Love their maple latte.

Great Coffee + Locally Owned + The Fastest Internet in WDM (and I've tested out a lot of coffee shop internet speeds!:)! Highly Recommend! The Carmel Layer is my go to!

Super friendly staff, delicious coffee and amazing pastries! I tried the almond thing that everyone raves about (not up on my pastries) but it was sooo good. I highly recommend!

The coffee was good. I was more disappointed that the young gal taking orders was talking to her friend while I patiently waited behind her friend in line. I got to the counter when they were done and the girl just stared at me. Nooo greeting. Nooo, how can I help you? What can I get you? Or even Hi!. Nothing. Nooo smile even. Then i sat down to wait for my order. A crowd came in. I patiently waited for my order. I'm guessing they called my name? I have no idea. The crowd was so loud I never heard my name. So 15 minutes later I see what I think is my food on the counter. I go and ask. It was! Sigh. I definitely go back to places with good customer service and I will not return here.
