Friedrichs Coffee

Wonderful tea varieties, great coffee quality, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Friedrichs is one of the few great coffee places left in Des Moines- I wish they were closer to Altoona!!

Mr. Cory is a dedicated Starbucks customer an doesn't realize what excellence customer service this loction has. Been going here since they first opened. Far better than any other coffee house in Des Moines.

The service was GREAT! My order was wrong, but they quickly fixed it with no questions asked!

OMG, this is the best coffee shop hands down! I would choose Friedrichs every time over Starbucks, Caribou or any other local shop. Best-tasting lattes and coffee I've found. Love the Scotcharoo Latte:)

The coffee was fantastic (and they had coconut milk as an option for their Lattes!!) But the knowledge the staff has about the local coffee community (and a WORKING roster on site!) made for a very enjoyable stop on our way through town!

Staff was very friendly, bathrooms clean, beautiful deck area for outside seating under some shady trees. Highly recommend this place for coffee and a kid's hot chocolate!

Helpful staff, cozy environment with a fireplace and living room style vibe. The menu offers all the staples you would expect and a few other unique beverages for those who want more than coffee.

Great coffee and food items. The place has great decor. Service is normally very good, but it's normally very busy. Can be hard to find a seat.
