Charlotte's Coffee House

While they were out of chicken salad, instead I had the chicken bacon panini and it was excellent! Seasoned fries were good, too. Their fresh lemonade hit the spot. Highly recommended (but go early for lunch as it got super-crowded).

Our 1st visit. We are quite pleased. The food is outstanding. The decor shouts old town Dubuque.

Charlotte's is a nice coffee and breakfast place. The coffee was very tasty. I ordered the Almond Joy hot coffee and it had a fantastic coconut flavor. Although I like my coffee on the hotter side, it was still warm enough. The breakfast sandwich was very good. The homemade biscuit was tasty and heavy. It's not a light flakey biscuit so it was very filling. The atmosphere is interesting and reminds me of a hometown coffee shop. The acai bowl was very tasty. I would certainly come back for both breakfast and coffee.

I checked this place out on a whim and what I found was one of my new favorite places. I can always tell if I like a place by how the staff makes me feel. This was no exception. Their customer service is top notch!

The building is beautiful and comfortable. You can spend a couple mins or an whole afternoon at this place. There is an upstairs portion that gets you out of the way of moving traffic while at the same time giving you a really nice view of Downtown Dubuque, Iowa.

I ordered a bulletproof coffee and wowzers was it good. You can tell that care is put into everything that comes out of this place. This is not just your run of the mill coffee house. This is an experience in excellence.

Stopped in to see a friend perform and fell in love with this coffee house. I had a peanut butter cup latte. The presentation was just as perfect as the flavor. It was such a wonderful experience. I will be back for sure!

Great local coffee place. Decent service and clean.

We waited a long time for our drinks while the women behind the counter chatted with each other. The drinks were the second worst we’ve ever had anywhere. Very bitter (perhaps the shots sat too long during the group chat). We tossed the drinks out. Nice atmosphere but we won’t go back.

Without question, the best café mocha I’ve ever had. They even did the maple leaf in the foam.

Got a chai latte and sat in the little table nook with a brick wall. It was cozy and quiet. Service was excellent!
