My absolute favorite coffee shop! The nitro chai is incredible and the baclava squares are so yummy. You can’t go wrong with anything!

Update a few months later: I now come to Morning Bell multiple times a week and still love it as much as the first time I discovered them!

New location that looks stunning but thankfully the old team is still in place creating coffee magic all around!! ☕️🍮☕️🍮🥡🍮

These people are great. I think they have the best and most affordable espresso, $2 per double shot (the standard pull?). It's easy on the wallet and a cozy place to stick around for a reasonable amount of time once things return to "normal". I enjoy my lattes straight up but they've got some interesting syrups from Lockwood Cafe that I just have to try. Black Pepper-Sage, Lavender-Rose, even Sriracha?! But it works--everytime, only good surprises.

After having another go at their roasted coffee, I loved their Honey Process on my V60 pour over. The cup was so much cleaner than a previous bag I had. I wonder if the bags are different? But regardless, great place!

The coffee is amazing and so is the ambience. Highly recommend.

No sweetener for diabetics, I get it, they probably don't want to offer artificial products but a viable option would be Stevia which is a natural sweetener. It is all about being professional and customer accommodating and I just felt that they were a bit lacking in that regard. Or so it seems to me.

This is the best coffee in Ames. I buy their beans and go in for a special drink every once in a while. The entire staff are rockstars- the coffee is consistently good no matter who is working. The owner is awesome and its exciting to see local artists displayed.

Another 5 star experience best lattes this side of Seattle. We have ordered coffee from Morning Bell for over a year. During this time something happened with the auto pay process. Nadav, the owner, has very kindly helped us work through whatever was going on with that.

It is so delightful to watch the coffee bloom when water is added to the mix. If you don't know what I am describing you don't know what you're missing.

Very pleased with Morning Bell. Ames has a lot of competition in terms of coffee shops but I would say Morning Bell outdoes the rest in terms of drink options, flavor, and richness in espresso.

Their espresso is incredible. It's smooth, crisp, and very satisfying.
I got "the Jacequline" which was a cold drink containing two espresso shots and steamed milk. Even for a cold drink it was wonderfully tasteful.

I also got a simple caramel latte a couple months back and that was very tasteful as well. Again, its all because their espresso is top-notch!

The coffee served here is very good, their chai tea is also great. However, the place have a somewhat uncomfortable seating setting. There are three large tables that sits 6-8 people, offering no privacy (no individual tables). There are 4 couches with a coffee table at the center and a bench at the end of the place and that's all there is to seat. The place is small, therefore it needs just a few people to get crowded and noisy. It didn't feel like a relaxing place to work, read or have a conversation.

Had a fantastic cortado! Ambiance is simple and clean. The staff were friendly, experienced and helpful. Equipment is too notch - single origin espresso is hand ground and their 2 group lever machine is gorgeous. Well worth the stop.
