Stopped by yesterday because I heard they might have vegan pastries & I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience! I got a London Fog Latte with oat milk and my sister got an oat milk latte and there was no upcharge for dairy milk! The vibe is very modern and chill inside too (love the plants!)
For snacks: I got the gluten free and vegan chocolate tahini sandwich cookie which was great -VERY rich. The baklava was also really good and they had another gluten free cookie option as well. (I assume it rotates). Gluten-free vegan snacks were from Little Bohemia. They had non-vegan donuts as well.

Such a relaxing aesthetic. Coffee was some of the best I’ve had in a VERY long time. Scones were so delicious as well. Will definitely be back again!

Very close to perfect :) worth a stop any time you're on main in Ames!
Tons of good things to say about the drinks, vibes, prices.
Only reason I can't give 5 stars is the bags of beans are not super air tight, they could be upgraded to deliver a better product for longer lasting beans and better flavor. I've tried 4-5 different roasts and they don't seem to match my liking. Better than windmill and smokey row by a mile though, and those two roasters have much better bags.

Don't be fooled by their signs posted outside. This is the absolute best coffee shop in Ames. The coffee is authentic and you cant beat the calm environment to get some work done or just meet with a friend. I was surprised that they provide female sanitary products in the bathroom. (love that).
I wont be getting my coffee from anywhere else!

Can't say enough good about this shop: sustainable, roasts their own beans, beautiful interior and houseplants, sweet people, great coffee! 💛 one of my favorites I've ever been to.

from Morning Bell’s perfectly steamed milk - particularly in their cortados and cappuccinos - to its outstanding baristas who are well-versed in any and all coffee and roast their beans in house, it is clear how the magic emanates from this worker-owned coffee shop in Ames’s very own downtown.
it’s a delight to see devoted coffee connoisseurs do what they love and create community spaces in the process.

Delicious, on site roasted coffe. Chill atmosphere. The shops acustics allowed me to have an animated conversation without having to contend with interference from surrounding conversations. It felt like I had been there before.

I'm in love. The roast this week had depth and character. I want to buy every roast they have and take it home with me. Every single time I am there the barista is friendly and chill. FRIDAY MORNING SCONES!!! Seriously worth screaming about. They were amazing. Only Fridays and don't go late. They sell out fast.

Excellent coffee and great vibe. Love that it's a coop and owned by employees. I'm sure there is a. Interesting story of entrepreneurship. Well done.

Great coffee! Best decaf ever. Enjoy the coffee shop but their beans are the best.
