There is fresh coffee in a clean and quiet place. I found this place when I found some beans sold in Hy vee was roasted within two days. So the roaster should be near Ames. And yes, it is in Ames, in a corner of the main street.

I asked for a darker roast and both pounds of beans I bought were darn near yellow. Some of the worst coffee I’ve tasted unfortunately.

First time there. Coffee is all pour-over, so no bitterness at all. Good service, reasonable value. Need more seating area.
