The Chocolate Moose-Brown County

Very good icecream, great variety of icecream dishes as well as soft serve. They also have lunch items as well as coffee items. My daughter loves the soft serve vanilla, I have had the soft serve twist and the turtle sundae, overall a great place to stop, staff could be a bit more friendly, try smiling a little more.

Not only is this place adorable, but the ice cream is so good. I had their coffee ice cream, it was so creamy. This town is also the cutest.

It wasn't our first choice. We planned to go to Miller's, but it was closed due to the pandemic. The milkshake I got had a scoop of, rather gritty ice cream on top. The shake itself was pretty good though. My wife also enjoyed her "Blizz." Not our favorite ice cream joint, but we're willing to try it again if we go back to Nashville any time in the future.

My husband loves his lemon custard ice cream. It's a must stop every time we pass through brown county.

Great coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream! I usually stop here every time we go to brown country state park. They get busy on the weekends sometimes so I'd definitely stop on off times to get good eats

I had the hot fudge sundae with hand dipped ice cream.

The vanilla ice cream had an icee flavor, not a rich creamy flavor. They were a little stingy with the hot fudge too.

The size of the sundae was a good value for the price, but the overall quality for my first visit was a 3/5 starys

Really good coffees and shakes at good prices

This is quite a ways from downtown. I guessed that the prices would reflect that, since you could get expensive ice cream right in the middle of the action, but Nope! The ice cream was very expensive for very small portions. My strawberry shake tasted like it was made with syrup instead of strawberries. It came in an 8 ounce cup with the lid on it and it was close to $5. I can get the child size ice cream from a shop near me and it is more quantity, hard ice cream, and it is only $2
