The Chocolate Moose-Brown County

Honestly, after today, I will not go back. Not only was the food, horrible but the customer service was definitely not the best. This has been the last several times in a row that I’ve been there. It’s a waste of money.

Today I had gotten a homemade ice cream, and my sister they had forgotten about mine and got my sister's, but they had almost no business at that time, and had around 5 employees working and it was unorganized on how they were running the place. Then later in the day my brother and freind had ice cream and they had more business, but more employees and they had also forgotten his ice cream and they waited around 15 minutes for both and I got a small earlier soft-serve and My freind got a large amd they had given me more than the large cone and type of ice cream and it cost way More for the large, and they didn't fill the small very good and still didn't give the large More than mine.

We stop in this morning and the lady was very pleasant. And not only that she was handling the front, phone, and etc, and we still received all that we ordered very quickly.

Delicious banana splits & Tasty hot chocolate! Cute little shop right before entering Nashville. We enjoyed the treats, just wish service was a little quicker !

Nice coffee and icream shop. Very clean and roomy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Local roasted coffee was fresh and hot. Descent variety of blends with a few single pronouns mixed in. They have pour overs as well but I am not sure how good their technique is. They didn't seem overly excited about making pour overs so we just got espresso. Over all this was a nice experience.

Our annual trip to Nashville wouldn’t be complete without a trip to The Chocolate Moose. Great ice cream, and great vegan options, too! I’m not vegan, but I AM lactose intolerant, so I appreciate that! This time, I got the vegan chocolate, and I was not disappointed!! Also, watched as someone made waffle cones by hand. Smelled SO good!!

We’ve been here a couple of times and it’s the best ice cream by far in Indiana!! The chocolate explosion is the bomb!! 😋

My wife and I really enjoy the drive to Brown County from Indy, sometimes just to grab lunch and a treat at the Chocolate Moose. They have a nice lunch menu, and some great ice cream! I usually get the twist, with some Heath bar crumbles on it. Well worth the trip!

Somewhat disappointing. The person taking orders was very helpful. While clearly a new employee, they were very good at answering questions (or finding the answer) as this was our fist visit.

But service was slow, we only received one of the two things we ordered then they repeatedly told us the other one was coming. My son was almost done with his 4 scoop sundae before they found my ticket again to give me a small dish of cookie dough ice cream. After all that time it was disappointing to find only 3 or 4 pieces of cookie dough in the 2 scoops.

The texture of the ice cream is good.

Goid chili cheese dog. No French fries. Great hot chocolate. Employees forgot to wear hair restraints an not up on handwashing
