The Chocolate Moose-Brown County

Quick and friendly staff. Ice cream was delicious. Shared a shake with the hubby and daughter got lemon custard with banana. She loved it.

Liked it so much the first night that we hit it again on our way out of town. I was happily surprised when the young woman who took my order, remembered my order from the previous day. ... Sometimes it's the little things.

I was excited to finally try this place out, however I feel it was very unorganized, having ordered just 3 coffees and waiting over 25 mins. 😵‍💫 but thinking in a tourist area could be faster. Another guy waited a bit long for his coffee to. Others behind you get their orders of ice cream before you is a bit ridiculous don't you think???????

Not too bad. Nice little place to go and try something different.

We were the 4th car in line and waited for an hour. When we finally reached the window it was getting close to closing time. But you can't leave the drive through once you're in, you're stuck in. The drive through is really tight.
The guy that took our order was polite.
I am sure they were in a rush to get out of there, so everything we received was pretty sloppy. We had also noticed the guy in front of us hand his ice cream cup back to be wiped off.
My ice cream dipped in chocolate "didn't make it" so this is what I got.(see photos) No apologies just "we had to do this." The ice cream was melted and there was a ton of hard chocolate stuck to the sides of the cup. We didn't stay to complain because there were still cars behind us that had been there forever too.

My granddaughters love the Chocolate Moose. We went this past Tuesday. There was one young woman working both the drive thru and the counter. No other employees were there. She apologized for the wait, kept her cool and greeted everyone with a smile and thanked everyone for coming. I certainly hope she is recognized for her exceptional service.

We went here for ice cream and a burrito. Ice cream was great, burrito on the other hand had mold on it. We took it back and they didn’t even look at it but we got our money back so whatever.

Stopped in for some late night ice cream!

Handmade ice cream. Shakes, malts, sundaes, good grub and more! Brown County coffee is served there in so many tasty forms too! Way better than those massive, pretentious coffee chains! Support your local businesses!!!!

Lost my order as well as my friends. When we finally got their attention we got her root beer they then said they found my order and would fix it. I ordered twist ice cream with caramel sauce. I got vanilla with chocolate sauce. Won't be going back.
