Railroad Cafe

We ordered carry out breaded tenderloins to go and it wasn't fried good enough. I like my tenderloins crispy and golden brown and these were not but the staff were so nice I didnt have the heart to take them back. Their cake was very good though. I would try again and ask them to be cooked longer. They do give very large servings too. Seem like good people!

This was by far the best little restaurant with the most delicious home cooked meals & pies you could ever imagine! Fried pickles were the best I've ever had! The staff and the atmosphere couldn't have been more pleasant and enjoyable. I'd give this a 10 star rating!

Good food but my waitress ignored me completely once my food arrived. Food price and quality 5 stars, my service 1 star.

Not set up very friendly for out of town visitor's. Menu is on a board on your way in. Server was not very patient about having to explain the options when we missed the fact that dinner options would not be on the menu. Was very disappointed in what felt like should have been a much friendlier small town cafe that came so highly rated. Food was subpar. SO's sandwich was cold and my food lacked for flavor. The upside was the fried pickles were really good. Wouldn't go out of my way again to visit.

Great little dinner. Had there TENDERLOIN and it was delicious and huge. Friendly service and very clean.

Met Friends here for lunch on way to Bloomington, Indiana May 21, 2021. My Goodness best Tenderloin Sandwich I have had in years. The Lady who served us was first rate. The Ice Tea was sweet, just like I like it. What a nice friendly lunch, it was over too quickly. Must find a reason to go this way again. If you like good cooking, try this place. I don't think you will be disappointed.

We went in for lunch and they were extremely busy. The appetizer (fried pickle’s) was amazing. I would really give this place a 5 star but the main course was lacking in flavor. But this wouldn’t stop me from trying something else on the menu!

Great place to get some good Food

Their tenderloin is so big my husband couldn't eat it all. Their food is really good and waitresses are all really nice.if you get a chance pau them a visit you won't be sorry.

We came here for the tenderloin they are famous for. It was really good top 5 in the area. It is a small restaurant, so be warned, at peak times you're going to have to wait. The women working the place were pros, it was impressive. While we were waiting to place our to go order, there is a row of pies sitting to your left... It was a struggle not to full on blow our calories for the day. Side note, if you're a space nerd like me, check out the Gus Grissom monument!
