I ordered a breakfast bagel with bacon, egg, cheese. Simple, right? Apparently not. They microwaved it - which is bad enough - and for so long the bagel was stiff. It was inedible. Then they served me without a napkin. And why did I tip them? Oh, because the tip has to be left at the time you purchase the food, and I was thinking optimistically. When I got the email with the receipt, I was also asked to provide feedback, which I did (see above), so I can say this about the manager: he very promptly contacted me with apologies and a commitment to do better. Good for him!

Pictured: Tedster. This place is really great! I guess there’s rooms to reserve if you want to work from here. Next trip back to Indy, I’m propping up here. Big fan!

WOW! Fantastic cuppa! I had the Ethiopian black hot. Very smooth and satisfying. I will be back and bring friends.

After tasting each option of cold brew i have come to some conclusions. despite what people say, anyone here to enjoy coffee should opt for the "Hot" brew method as the cold brew suppresses the Colombian brews fruity notes as well as nullifying the complexity of the Sumatran brew, leaving you with an ultra smooth coffee with a good taste, rather than the true experience of an Indonesian cup of coffee. otherwise a fantastic environment and kind staff members.

Great coffee and friendly staff. Highly recommend! I just recently started drinking my coffee black and while I’m not super picky about what I have, I could definitely tell that this is a step above the others in quality. It was smooth, not bitter at all, and very tasty. You can’t go wrong here. Looking forward to returning so I can try out more of the brews!

Really bad service. I get there’s a labor shortage but the three teenagers behind the bar ‘working’ were awful. Dude made my food. Placed it on the top of the oven, then just walked away and started flirting in the hallway with his female coworker. It was a joke. I had to ask him to get it and he wouldn’t even do it. Made the one girl who was working get it. While he continued with his weak flirting. Coffee was ok. Won’t be back.

The barista's recommendation was fantastic. The coffee was flavorful and hot, but not too sweet. The mix of tables and chairs was lovely, and the people behind the counter were all very pleasant. Will definitely be back.

My husband brought me to Java today as a surprise because he knows I love coffee as well as unique new coffee shops. Starbucks gets old after awhile so it is always nice to try something new. This coffeehouse had me in awe. The moment I walked in I took in the amazing coffee smells, and the rustic decor. The thing that blew me away the most was the fact they have conference rooms you can rent for $15/hr. My husband wants us to go there when university starts back up in the fall so that we can have some quiet study time away from our 6 year old (we love him dearly we do lol). I highly recommend!!!!!

Both employees were rude and short while we tried to decipher how we could order their seasonal drinks as some were only iced but others were only in mediums and so on and so forth. Not pleased with this location. The barista taking my order also lowered his mask???? To talk to me???? Not to mention my espresso was barely warm when served to me... I’m not sure who upset these baristas today but whewww, it was unpleasant. If you must, just go to the carmel location.

Java House is my favorite coffee place, easily. Starbucks and Dunkin’ donuts have NOTHING on this place and their coffee!! The environment, the baristas, basically EVERYTHING about this place makes it a prime coffee location. I don’t even live in Carmel - I live in Greenwood and I make it a point to come to this location at least once a week for a good coffee :)
