I decided to stop by Java House to try this new coffee place and see if it could persuade me to abandon my usual coffee spot. The mall was crowded with Black Friday shoppers, so I had a little trouble finding parking. Eventually I arrived, finding the entrance right next to Patachou. The coffee shop only had one guest and was fairly quiet. I was surprised due to the amount of foot traffic outside. This is also a work studio, where rooms can be rented for use while you drink your coffee. Interesting concept and a seemingly nice facility for that type of service. After reviewing the menu, I chose the hot "Brewski" English toffee coffee. It was quick to order and was ready in just a couple of minutes. The first thing I noticed was that it was almost devoid of any coffee taste at all. Maybe I'm just used to terrible coffee and espresso, but I was expecting something a little bolder. The temperature of the coffee was also a little cooler than expected. This is good and bad, as I could drink it immediately but didn't feel like I was drinking coffee. I didn't care for the add-ins that tried to bring about an English toffee flavor. They weren't very convincing. Maybe next time I'll get a simple black coffee and go from there. Overall, for $6, I wasn't really impressed nor really disappointed. I'd stop by again for the quiet environment and to try a different coffee arrangement.

Awesome coffee joint! All of their coffees are cold brewed, but you can get it hot, iced or nitro. Had the sumatran nitro draft latte with salted caramel flavor - absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a drink and chatting with a friend or reading. There are also meeting rooms you can rent by the hour for $15 - perfect for meetups and small group hangouts. Definitely a cool place to check out!

Love this place!! Devin and Ben are always so polite, and do a fantastic job of making my order just right. Great atmosphere, and anytime I'm anywhere near the area I'll always stop here before any other coffee stop. Highly recommended!!

Friendly staff and an interesting selection. It's a great break from the green mermaid.

This is my favorite coffee in Indianapolis. I usually get a blended Tedster. They also have a great nitro brew. There coffee is a bit pricey, so I only have it as a special treat. If you are at Clay Terrace I would highly recommend stopping by.

Chill atmosphere, I could work here all day! Declined coffee today but the Cranberry Hot Tea was delicious.

They greeted me and walked me through all their flavors/milks/sauces as soon as i walked in! The one girl complimented my hair and asked the inspiration for it (love that). I didnt catch her name but from the short chat, she has good taste in music. Got an iced maple latte with oat milk and it was SO SMOOTH. Very similar quality to that of The Well in Fishers for the sake of reference.
They have plenty of milk alts, flavors, and they even use paper straws! Very cute place and i cant stress how sweet the one girl was. Will update with her name if i see her again.

Coffee is delicious, got a nitro Ethiopian a few weeks back and noticed they advertise growler fills for $15 on their menu board. This morning I grabbed one of the 20 or so growlers we already own, checked their website for info on glass rules, and when I didn't see anything I headed off for the 35 minute drive to Clay Terrace. When I get there they tell me that they only fill growlers purchased on-site and their glass is a whopping $25 and that doesn't even include the fill. $40 for 64 oz of cold brew? No thanks. Please update your site with that info or start filling non-branded glass (the obvious better option).
Edit: Quick response from owner making the situation right below. Rating adjusted appropriately!

Walking in I was instantly greeted with smiling faces from the baristas which was fun! I actually went to this coffee shop to work remote and it had really fast wifi, which is much appreciated for us workaholics (funnily enough they had a drink named for workaholics).
I ordered two drinks while I was there, the first was called hockey wife, it kind of reminded me of the "pink drink" at Starbucks but I thought this one was way better. I didn't know what to get next so I had the baristas walk me through a little bit of the menu, seriously they were SO helpful. I ended up going for a nitro cold brew, never had one before. It was so creamy but without the actual cream! So no calories! I mean, wow! If you go there, I would for sure try the nitro.
There isn't much food, but a few yogurts, but again I was there for work so I was happy. I even ordered in food for lunch which they were cool with! Definitely going to be a regular here.

Best coffee in town. Absolutely obsessed with the honey baby. Atmosphere is relaxing and cozy, exactly what you want in a coffee shop. Can’t beat it!
