Morgenstern's Bookstore & Café

Every major university’s town should have a book store exactly like this on. They have tons of great and interesting things to buy. Coffee bar was great even though I don’t usually want a dark roast.

One of my favorite places to be. Friendly staff, great book selection. The coffee is amazing and the baristas always make my day whenever I visit.

A quaint and enjoyable bookstore experience. Easy to find what you need. Helpful staff. The cafe was a disappointment though. Subpar baked goods and not good coffee. Would love to see bistro style sandwiches and soups make an appearance and an upgrade in bakery items!

I'm glad to see this bookstore return. My father and I used to go to it before they closed their doors years ago and was excited to go together again. A must when you're searching for a book. The Sci-fi, Mystery and Horror sections are wonderfully stocked here.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. The books are intriguing and the cafe is small but nice. Great place to spend time at.

We visited Morgenstern's for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. It was our son's first time in a book store because of the pandemic. He was in heaven the entire time. The only problem is that there are too many good books and we couldn't buy them all.

Bloomington just became a better town with the return of it's greatly missed and favorite bookstores! It's so nice to have a local bookstore that provides outstanding customer service and offers an amazing selection of affordable books for all ages! Welcome back💗

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Ever since Barnes and Noble closed in Bloomington I've hoped for another larger bookstore to open, and Morgenstern's is even more than I could ask for as a college student! I love the cafe and seating area - I can do homework and grab a snack after browsing for books. I also love that the things sold in the cafe are through local Bloomington businesses, Bloomingtea & Scholar's Inn Bakehouse. The staff are also super friendly and helpful! I almost don't want to tell others about this place so it doesn't get too crowded :)
