A wonderful bookstore! Large, and with a great selection. A great place to browse, and seating to read for a bit. Nice cafe with a variety of drinks and snacks. Also a fun assortment of gift items as well. Will definitely stop in whenever I visit the area.

It's a cute bookstore organized by genre, additional crafty items for sale and coffee shop w/snacks & tables to work. Sadly, my mom thought the Chai latte was way too spicy (or perhaps there was ginger in it) and my latte was a creative mix of flavors that just didn't work together at all. However, I will be back to try something different.

Great selection, including a shelf of local authors and Indiana-related books. If you buy $30+ of books you can pick out one of the advance copies they've received from publishers to take home for free! They also have some literary puzzles, games, mugs, and fun stuff like that.

Great local bookstore with a coffee shop. Coffee and sweets.

Love the ambience! It's a bookstore and merchandise place with a small Cafe. It's really popular so the Cafe area and scattered seats or tables throughout the store get full very quickly! Hope they expand!
They also host community events like open mic.

Morgenstern's is an amazing place. They've really turned it into quite a treasure! The kids corner is adorable. And it seems like they will be offering incentives to get younger kiddos reading this summer !

Since Rick resurrected the store, I've been in several times, but not as often as I'd like, living out of state. One of my Mom's former third graders works there and recognized me. I always leave there lighter in my wallet, but also in disposition. Need to give the cafe a go. This place is no mere independent bookstore. It's a cultural center for Bloomington. Treasure it. Frequent it.

First time I went there was a good experience. I’ve been back twice now. I love their coffee and recommend you buying a cup. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
They have poetry readings, which I have been to one and that was interesting. I’ll have to go to another.
Overall, I’m happy to see this bookstore on the east side of Bloomington. They have a nice selection of books, a nice staff (that I’ve talked too), and have made it well known that they are here to stay. I really like Morganstern’s Bookstore Café.

I love this as a meeting place. I have tried the salted caramel cookie and the peanut butter cookie. They make great comfort snacks when meeting with people at the cafe there. I love their collection of books and how you always see something different when you go in.
