The Original Pancake House

Great place for breakfast. Crowded on the weekend. Open until 2pm. Around $20/person.

The restaurant is spacious and bright. We went there around 11:30am. The parking lot is almost full. Expected to wait awhile but was seated in 5 minutes. The servers are very attentive. The coffee was good and always refilled. We ordered crapes and egg dish. The order came reasonably fast and hot. The baked omelette would take a bit longer so I didn’t order it. The coffee mug is fancy with the store name and location on it. It would have been a good souvenir to keep. Will definitely come back again next time.

Excellent food - the bacon is amazing. Coffee was terrific. Service was terrific.

Definitely pricey. If you're looking for your basic eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast you will have to add one of the carbs as a side order. $4 for toast? Nope - that is a bit ridiculous.

We opted for the Senior +55 breakfasts which included our coffees. That was a decent deal for about $11 each.

Placed was packed but no waiting on table.
Server Patrick was awesome! Coffee best I've had in a long time. Fodd was great with large portions. Bacon is huge !

The service was fast and friendly. We did have to wait for a table. We were able to wait in the car until our table was ready. The food was delicious. The portions are large, so come hungry. We will definitely come back.

The most amazing breakfast restaurant I've ever been too. The best service, and helpful friendly staff! Our waitress was amazing and helpful. The portions were huge and delicious, reasonably priced as well. Outstanding coffee as well. Tons of options from pancakes to omelets and meats. Outstanding restaurant, 10/10 would recommend and we'll definitely be back. No other restaurant has impressed me as much as this one. The Chocolate pancakes were amazing. The dutch baby dish looked amazing. Thanks!

This was our first visit to The Original Pancake House and I have to say it was quite pleasant from the time we walked in to the time we left. The staff was all friendly and social, the resturaunt looked great and wasn't busy at all. They do require masks while entering but as your eating you aren't required to wear them and they sit everyone with enough space that you feel comfortable as well as allow you to pick where you would like to sit. All the staff wear masks and clean behind you almost immediately after your done. We were there for maybe less than an hour between eating, talking and enjoying the experience. The food came out looking amazing as you can see and the portion size is def great for the price we were able to take leftovers home from what we ordered. Overall I would def say our visit was a success and something we truly enjoyed.

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Was able to be seated immediately. The food was up quick. Side orders were a little pricey, same with the juice.

In town visiting and we ordered curbside service from this awesome restaurant! Everything was delivered to our car piping hot. The ingredients are fresh and wonderful. The portions are generous and the price are reflective of the portion size. The omelets are huge and baked in the oven. The ingredients are super fresh, I had the vegetarian omelet and it was stuffed with fresh veggies. My sister had the ham, cheese omelet and added mushrooms to it. Sooo tasty! We shared a side of bacon and hashbrowns with onions. Super fresh and great! Since I love Dutch baby I ordered one of those for later with a side of strawberries and bananas. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place, the ingredients are super fresh and delicious and service is outstanding.

Excellent food. Incredible service. Lovely atmosphere. As others have said, we feel that our 25min wait (on a Saturday morning) was worth it.

My sons took me here while I was visiting them at Illinois State university. Very busy but called ahead and got seated shortly after arrival. Great food
