Best place for coffee in town. They have amazing customer service, good dark coffee that isn't bitter and lots of options to sweeten up your drink should you choose to. Couldn't ask for a better place.

During a road trip around the country, I happened to come across this quaint little shop. I wound't have found it if it weren't exploring Galena downtown area on foot. It's just off the beaten path and definitely has a local vibe. The shop is very comfortable. They have tables and a small counter that faces the street. The drip coffee was pretty good and the pastries were fresh and tasty. Totally my kind of place.

As a visitor to the area, the Google images of this place is what drew me in! It definitely surpassed my expectations in person. The atmosphere is great, beautifully decorated and filled with kind "baristas". I had to try the caramel macchiato after seeing someone's picture in their review. It was just as delicious as I thought it would be! If I was local, I'd be back regularly. If you're looking for a cute, locally owned coffee joint during your stay in the area, I definitely recommend.

Extremely pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Pop in for a quick take out or while away an hour or two — reading, playing scrabble, chatting. Wonderful staff. Family friendly. My husband enjoyed the dark roast (General Grant), robust without any “burnt” taste quality. I’m a “kiddie coffee” fan and thoroughly delighted in the Salted Caramel Mocha (topped with the most fabulous whipped cream sprinkled with tasty salt crystals). We visited each day of our stay in Galena!

The staff was super friendly, building was spacious and it was easy to read the menus. I got a small Toffee Crunch latte and it was DELICIOUS! Will most definitely visit this shop again

Love me small town, non-Starbucks coffee. Our sweet & salty lattes perfectly hit the spot on a rainy,chilly morning, and my spinach feta croissant made an almost healthy breakfast. Y'all let me have my illusions. Easy parking nearby, and the staff was sweet and fast.

The Best Green Iced Tea you will EVER have. Ok, that's pretty good. But this tiny store with wonderful, pleasant staff, has the best black Iced Tea you will ever have!! Really, this store will change how you look at the Iced Tea you get anywhere els.

Visited twice. If you come to sit down it's probably cool but the coffee is absolutely mediocre. $6.50 for a large cup of basically water with Walmart chocolate syrup. Feel insulted. Don't understand how you have one purpose for existing and you can't meet a basic standard. Other coffee shops in the area are vastly superior and cheaper. Pass.
