The Human Bean

I ordered a blended Java Chip, it was disgusting, although the flavor was great, the consistency was that of a melted milkshake! So disappointing, This is my all time favorite coffee shop although definitely not this location.. We arrived on a motorcycle, I ordered but my husband did not. All he wanted after being an 80°. Weather on a bike was a glass of ice water. Mind you this was tap ice water. And the lady charges a dollar seventy six for it. There was no courtesy no customer service. Nothing in the fact that it was hot out and we'd already spent over $10 on my drink.. It's disappointing because I Usually have to drive really far to get to a human bean. I was so excited because this one's actually next to our new neighborhood.. Because of this I now have to drive far again....ugh

I love the Human Bean in Star and used to be a regular there, since they were down the road from my office. I live closer to this location on Caldwell Blvd and don't work in Star anymore, so any time I get Human Bean it's from this stand. Something is always off when I go. Either the drinks aren't made well, they're made incorrectly, or the staff is less than friendly. Working in customer service, I totally understand that everyone has off days and sometimes it's just plain hard to put on a front when you're not having a good day, but it's just awkward when I'm trying to be kind to the person at the window and they're not reciprocating. There are several other local coffee shops I would recommend first.

More bang for your buck than that other coffee shop...and the service is just as good but not so...invasive...AND they give you little chocolate covered coffee beans. I have no idea why that's so appealing but trust me...it's almost a literal cherry on top

I have been a supporter of The Human Bean for 3 + years. I waited in line behind TWO cars today for 19 minutes and I never got a drink . When I finally got to the window, I just passed through. I didn’t have any more time to waste. I’ve waited in line at other big coffee chains behind 3-5 x more cars and I still received my drink in under ten minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be supporting this location anymore.

This is my favorite coffee shop hands down! The employees that work at this location are the sweetest and most friendly people ever. They always make my day 10x better and it’s not just because of the amazing coffee!

I used to love human bean coffee drinks i would always go for a blended campfire but lately the drinks are not made well and seem powdery like their in a rush but have no lines. Their rebel drinks are yummy. But they need better training on making drinks. It's just not the same. The specific location I'm referring to is by the college in Caldwell.

We went into town yesterday and was super excited to get drinks. We were in line at 4:40pm (we made sure we were there before 5 because due to NYE the location was closing at 5) and got turned away along with 2 other cars. We were already in line at 4:40. And the car I front of us was in like before us and still got turned away. Was not happy that we got turned away, I understand if we got there at 5 or 4:55 but we should of been served. Very unpleasant experience. (Caldwell location)

Definitely better taste and coffee then Dutch Brothers. It's just that they're buildings are different everywhere you go they're not consistent. But the quality of Coffee brew is delicious
