The Blue Lantern Coffee House

Such a cute coffee shop with friendly staff in a historical old building. They serve some sweets and small sandwiches and I enjoyed their iced teas. They have a selection of artsy gifts/post cards/greeting cards. Would be a nice place to hang out with friends or study. Totally recommended.

Great little place to study and get coffee. Nice staff and cool atmosphere, however watch yourself as the coffee can get quite spendy.

Atmosphere means everything, and this place has a wonderful feel to it. Great coffee too. If I lived nearby, I would be here every day!

Great coffee house and great coffee! I had a mocha and it was delicious! I get a mocha pretty much anytime I go in a coffee shop. I have come to expect that some places are better than others... but this place tops them all when it comes to a good cup of coffee or a mocha. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere! I will be back!

This place has a style that captures your attention, the woman who attended us who I think is the owner was super friendly, talkative and pleased us with what we wanted, everything we tried was delicious, I would return without a doubt.

They usually have cupcakes or other small snacks to choose from. Must visit atleast once place. It is what use to be an old bank but many of the historic features remain. Has a private area in back to enjoy privacy and has an on site bathroom. The coffee is also very good.

What a great place! Face friendly. We were not masked (though we do distance and keep our hands to ourselves) and they left their masks off so we could see their fabulous friendly smiles. The group that came in after us were wearing masks and the staff immediately put theirs on as well. Very respectful of personal choice. Great coffee, super nice staff, A+ service, very clean. Oh, and the gluten free carrot cupcakes are to die for! I have found my new coffee shop.

Love the coffee, scones and quiches! They also sell local made wines, art, cards, jewelry, and other trinkets. Really a great place and it's exactly what Id like to see more of downtown.
