The Local

Great neighborhood place to grab some wine/beer, eat some good food, have great service, and occasionally hear some awesome live music. They have a great outdoor seating area that is beautiful and comfortable.

Im hopeful this place continues to evolve and grow. The food was tasty and fresh. Service was a little slow. They just got a little busier then expected with a slow night staff, but the server was great and handled it with grace and kindness. Ill be back.

The Local as the name says it, gives me the feeling of welcomed in my own neighborhood and the elegance of a place that at the same time transfers me to a world of great taste! The food, the wine and the music is always great.

I had the best lunch here, the most delicious sandwich and salad combo!

We are regular customers at The Local. Last night we did paint n sip next door, then proceeded to dinner at this restaurant. We split one bottle of wine between 4 people at the paint party. We had fun, and got paint on each other's faces. When we arrived at the Local (6:30pm), we all ordered a glass of wine and meals. When the meals came out, we tried to order another glass of wine. Matthew (waiter) refused us. He said that he and Olivia (waitress that was giving us dirty looks) had decided that we had too much to drink! He said that we must have had a lot at the paint party. I decided to debate this, and offered to show him my receipt for the wine. He became belligerent with us. One friend got up and left immediately (she doesn't even drink). I was furious! I wasn't going to pay for my meal (which I didn't touch) but I found out that my friend paid the tab. She shouldn't have. I will be sure to share this experience with everyone I know! Over, and over, and over!

Love love love! The fish tacos are absolutely awesome! Pepe's sauce is the best!

Staff is always super cheerful and inviting, the food is amazing and the warm atmosphere keeps us coming back. Great outside area too during the warmer months.
