Enjoyed an excellent cup of coffee and conversation with Grant. This spot has to be seen in person. I highly recommend it to anyone staying or traveling through Boise. Can’t wait to go back!

Visited Boise for the weekend and this place was great. I loved the ambiance and the workers were friendly. I got the iced vanilla latte and it was one of the best vanilla lattes I’ve had in awhile. They make it not too sweet, which is my preference.

One of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was also great. I will be back to this place next time I’m in Boise. I’d love to see an option for a larger ice latte.

Truly one of the best coffee in downtown Boise! Must stop by the place. Friendly staff and very relaxing.

Husband and wife team, Grant and Zoe, have grown their local project from a coffee stand to a gorgeous bricks and mortar shop in a perfect downtown Boise location. Every design detail was lovingly decided to create an ideal place for: early morning paper reading, late morning friend meet ups, or afternoon work meetings. The coffee, which they have been roasting themselves for years, is superb, but try the housemade granola bowl which Zoe weekly prepares. A much appreciated addition to the downtown Boise creative scene.

Transplant from LA area (I know we suck but we know great coffee), barista and occasional roaster in college. Neckar isn’t just good coffee “for Idaho”. They’re some of the best coffee I’ve had. A cut above most from San Diego to Santa Barbara, and on par with the best. Cafe is beautiful and vibey. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. They aren’t lacking anything.

Neckar is a true example of care and craftship when it comes to cafes, and the welcoming mood is apparent from the moment each customer walks through the door at 177 9th Street. Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere, as minimal yet luxurious furniture is arranged ever so neatly to frame the front stage, a beautiful marble countertop around the bar.

The best latte’s and Cold Brew Nitro ice coffee in all of Boise!! Phenomenal service that will keep you coming back!!

Kyle Brekke

One of the better coffee shops for expensive drinks. Definitely worth the extra price.

It was a good breve, the atmosphere is unique and the place isn't as cozy as I prefer but that's just a personal opinion! The barista was very nice! Overall, I definitely enjoyed my visit!
