I moved to Boise over a year ago. And Necker is definitely one of the best coffee shops there is in the city. They have delicious pastries amazing, staff and amazing drinks. The coffee roast they have are impeccable. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff makes sure that everything is correct and they have an open door policy to letting them know if something is not quite right. They were very well informed coffee making and they’ve helped me understand the process and experience on how to make a good cup of coffee. It’s coffee shops like these that got me venturing even further into my coffee niche. The owner has helped me understand the process and various way to make coffee. It is shops like these that create a desire for being a future barista. Oh and it’s dog friendly too.

Amazed at the quality of coffee here. Both the latte and the americano were amazing. For the latte, it had enough bold flavor and did not taste bland. Space was also open, clean, and modern. Price seemed higher than some of the comparable cafes in the area.

Modern eclectic.
Come to Neckar for gourmet coffee. At least that's the impression I got, not having that fine palate myself.
Impeccable execution, expensive regional beans for sale, and smaller sizes that succeed in presenting a better experience. My latte was a step up from the average.
BTW, the neckarcoffee.com web site could use an upgrade, as every page I visited on it took 15 seconds to load.
The store is very modern, minimalist almost, with small bistro tables and a fresh rectangular table with benches for the communal laptop users. Cool bird mural on the back wall. Pastry selection was also minimal (two cake items), but top quality.
Alas, I could not give 5 stars, as the restrooms are shared with other tenants and kind of destroy the vibe, and the staff was, though friendly, a bit too uncaring to make Neckar a welcoming place.

Neckar is thee best coffee in Idaho. I would put their quality on par with Espresso Vivacé in Seattle, but it goes further than that. Their café has a wonderful aesthetic, the product is always perfect, and the owners are some of the nicest, most down to earth people you will every meet. When you buy beans, or buy a drink, You can taste the pride and integrity that goes into what you are supporting with you business. Customer for life.

I really care about the quality and taste of my coffee, this was a great coffee shop. I got a cortado, which in my opinion was made perfectly. I love that they try to use clean ingredients and as close to organic as they can. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

Came to Neckar with a friend! A very warm atmosphere with some cool plants, and friendly baristas. They also had a playlist I really enjoyed, shout out to y’all for the good music taste! I got a basic americano, and I thought it tasted great! Might have to look around for parking in the area.

Amazing little hidden place. Definitely for the locals!

This is the best third wave shop in Boise I've found so far. Didn't get to spend a lot of time here, but enjoyed a great-tasting macchiato and strong & delicious drip coffee in a clean, but warmly designed space.
Wanted to bring some whole bean home to brew, but did not get a chance. Will be going out of my way to get coffee here when in Boise.

This place is great. The staff were hospitable. I was requesting decaf coffee, which they don’t have (I’m trying to cut back on my caffeine but still I go… lol). But the barista just made me a single Mocha.
The coffee is EXCELLENT. Great espresso from what I could taste in the Mocha.
I wondering if I just missed the food options though?
As a stand alone, coffee centered establishment, it is great! Awesome mural on the wall as well.

Coffee was OK nothing special about it. They only have 10oz cups to go. It was really loud when I got there and there was loud music. The employee who took my order was dancing. I really don’t care if you dance while making coffee, but when I’m standing there trying to make an order or ask questions and you just dance in a bizarre way it’s just unprofessional and weird. I’m sure that there are times it’s quiet there, but it didn’t have the quiet cozy feel that most coffee shops do.
