Sunrise Coffee

This is the BEST coffee on the island.

As someone who lives in coffee central (Los Angeles) this is easily the best I’ve had on the island. I’ve tried around 4 different shops from each side of the island. Sunrise Coffee takes the win for the best cold brew.

Wake up early, beat the morning traffic and grab a cold brew with a bagel. You can thank me later.

Will be back everyday for the rest of our trip!

Tons of parking as a heads up and an outdoor eating area.

We drove past this spot a couple times and the place looked inviting. Went here one morning.
The place was already getting crowded.
One of the owners helped me find a spot to park my car.
The service was friendly and fast.
We got the avocado toast, bagel with cream cheese and some coffee.
They were generous with the avocado on the toast. Liked the taste.
The coffee was good and complemented the everything bagel.
The owners are very involved and are friendly to talk to.
Recommend coming here if you are around the area.

Found this cute minimalist cafe on the side of the road. It’s an easy miss, so be careful when you approach!
Overpriced for Starbucks quality

It’s outdoor and has just two benches. Enough parking for 4-5 cars though.

Limited food options - Bagel, Avacado Toast, Açaí Bowl and a wide variety of Coffee. If you’re lucky, there could be other baked goodies, unless the local bakers are on a vacation ✨

We had - Avacado Toast, Plain Bagel, 2 Macadamia Vanilla Lattes ( Cold and Hot).

☕️ The Hot Macademia Vanilla Latte is hands down one of the best coffee ever! The cold one is pretty average, but still delicious ✨

🥯 The Bagel is just regular but decent and tasted good 🙌

🍞🥑 I think the Avacado Toast is delicious but it’s not worth 13$ for just two pieces bread cut in half.

A nice spot off the side of the road for some quick food. The staff is awesome. There are some picnic tables with umbrellas that are available. A nice touch since it rained while we were here getting breakfast. There are a lot of quick options for breakfast different options for toast and lattes.

Glad we found the out the way coffee truck- it's a delight! There's a few parking spots right in front, but they turn over pretty quickly so even if there's no space to park you could wait a few to see who's finished. Otherwise there is a road just after the turning that people had parked on the verge. They have a full coffee menu, plus bagels, avo toast, pastries, and acai bowls with a range of toppings you can add. AND it's one of the few places I've found on Kauai that has nut free granola- hallelujah!! Thanks sunrise, we'll be back!

Easily was one of our favourite places to grab some açai during our month stay on the island. It was filling, fresh and delicious. We also indulged in their avocado toast which was topped with a yummy seasoning and was over a sourdough tasting bread. Yum! For sure take the time one morning to try this place. However a little pricey, it’s worth it here! Happy to support this business any day.

The coffee beverages we got here were among our very favorites! Their vanilla macadamia nut latte was AMAZING!! I also bought a super cute t-shirt while there. The little trailer unassuming from the outside and easy to miss while driving on the highway, but it’s most definitely worth stopping by. We can’t recommend it more!

Only so many coffee shops on island. So this is special. These ladies are so sweet and happy! Avocado toast and an eye opening Bullet Coffee! Just be careful pulling in traffic little crazy in the morning! Worth the stop! Veteran stamped and approved. Bring cash get 5% discount!

Delicious breakfast on Easter Sunday. Although I typically don’t like flavored coffees I decided to try one. The Açaí was excellent. Vibe is great.
Friendly staff, short wait, and if you really like this place there’s t-shirts, tanks, hats and branded drink ware.
Nice benches to sit and enjoy the lush greenery.
Someone else made a comment on the prices, but I think this is very much in line with Kauai prices in general. This isn’t a ‘cheap’ island to visit and please bear in mind there was very little tourism during Covid so locals are strapped. If anything - show your love and tip more than you used to.

The most amazing Açaí bowl. I can’t stop thinking about it. Honestly the best meal I had while in Kauai! Both times we went we had great service too 🌺
