Sunrise Coffee

The cutest little food truck on the Island of Kauai! This place is serving up housemade Acai bowls, local pastries and quality coffee! I was fortunate enough to chat with the owner during my short stay on the Island and she truly cares about the freshness of her product and the happiness of her staff. If you are passing through Lihue, dont forget to make it to Sunrise, it is worth it! My favorite was the cold brew coffee paired with an Extravaganza Acai bowl and a Lilikoi muffin. I absolutely love a good Dirty Chai. I look far and wide for the best ones, and they make my coffee exactly how I love it! Sunrise Coffee is the best place to go grab a coffee and a treat, as their baked goodies are super delicious, as well!!!

Showed up at 12:15 on a Sunday with an advertised closing time of 1pm. Walking toward the coffee/food truck, a woman tells me they closed early. She didn’t provide an excuse or reason. Another car pulls in next to us as I get back into the car to leave. Someone in the food truck says they closed early with a smile. Which leads me to believe there isn’t a good reason why they closed early. Why?

Great food truck coffee stand with an outdoor/shaded seating area that's en route to Wailua Falls. The barista was super nice. Had the macadamia nut iced latte, which was super good. Definitely recommend going.

DELICIOUS!!! Surprised when we drove by and it was open earlier than scheduled, so we scored delicious carmel lattes and fruit scones. Staff was very nice. Located right on the way to a hike. Highly recommended.
