Not quite what the picture is, this is supposed to be there ube latte. Where’s the ube and way smaller than the actual picture in a glass and we were having it in house.
The first experience at different location in South Kona was a way better experience. They were lovely there and here the guy was blasé about answering questions and when asked that the drinks was not the same as pictured or what another customer got, plainly said “it’s the same” just in a takeaway cup, which we did not ask for takeaway. Clearly has no desire to make customers understand clearly on choices, difference and care of customer service. Was gonna buy a hoodie but no longer want to support this place. Pictures of what I got and what it should look like(it is larger size on right) still, nothing similar at all, where’s the ube?

I recently visited HiCo coffee shop while on vacation in South Kona, Hawaii and I have to say, it was a highlight of my trip. The coffee shop itself had a cozy, authentic Hawaiian vibe and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
But the real star of the show was the coffee. This coffee shop is proud to serve 100% Hawaiian coffee and it shows in the quality of the brew. The coffee had a rich, bold flavor and was some of the best I've ever had. I also appreciated that HiCo sources their coffee directly from local farmers, supporting the local community.
Overall, I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting South Kona. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a delicious pick-me-up, HiCo has you covered. The authentic Hawaiian atmosphere and top-notch coffee make it a must-visit spot.

Great place, we had the turkey pesto panini, spicy crab musubi, and spam musubi to eat and the caramel mix drink and the cold ube latte. All food was great and I really loved the drinks, the mix drinks are more on the sweet side like a drink from Starbucks or dunk'n, but taste better, and the latte was more for the more bitter coffee lover.

The espresso here is decently done. In general the bar for Kona coffee on the island is very low.
The service here is a bit slow. Open air seating inside and a big patio with umbrellas outside. The wifi is pretty good and reaches outside.
Tip: you can sit outside on the patio and continue using the wifi after they close.

Wow, what a cool vibe this place has! I really enjoyed sitting outside in front of the place, really nice shade and plants. Great cup of regular coffee but the spicy crab musubi was the best food I've had so far on the island!

Peaberry coffee was smooth and not bitter. Ube sweet cream cold brew also hit the spot on a hot day. Definitely worth checking out.

The absolute best! I have been here dozens of times and it never disappoints — definitely try the ube latte or add ube cream to your coffee.
