Awesome coffee shop! My favorite on the island. The service is great, fun vibe, and the coffee is fabulous. I had the loaded spam musubi that was absolutely kickin. 💯
Highly recommending HiCO
Aloha Kona
As you know, Kona is well known Hawaiian city for coffee. Of course, it's not difficult to find a coffee place in any city nowadays, but it is something special about coffee in Kona. If you want to try Kona coffee, I highly recommend you to visit a coffee farm. However if you seek something casual and convenient place without compromising the taste of coffee, you may want to try to visit HiCO. It's one of casual coffee places and one of the hot spots for coffee in Kona. It is pricey and sometime you would see a long waiting line. But if you want to sip some casual and nice coffee in Kona, you don't want to miss this place.

This is a very cool place. The chai tea latte, Ube latte and the nitro coffee are delicious. We also had the Avocado Toast is super good and if you prefer a sweet treat the Banana toast would be perfect. Service has always been 5 Stars.

Sat and enjoyed a slice of avocado toast with cucumber instead of the pickled carrot bc they were out.
Still delicious! And (vanilla) Froshaka. Around lots of shops and other restaurants. Give yourself time to walk around and check them out!

We had the Iced Ube latte and cold brew here and it was so delicious we came back the next day for more! It tasted a little better the first time so there definitely is some consistency issues but I’m so sad we don’t have this in Illinois because I would drink this every single day! I ordered the caprese sandwich as well and it was gross, we could barely force ourselves to finish it :( The aesthetic of the coffee shop itself is really nice as well and there are quite a few folks sitting back and being productive. The Ube stole my heart and I’ll definitely have to grab a cup before leaving 💜

The vibes are here. Coffee is amazing and the coffeehouse vibes welcome you in. The plants all around the shop and the open space welcomes all. The coffee flavors are well balanced. I recommend this as a must stop while here on the Big Island. Definitely a multi-visit kinda place. Ube latte and mac nut latte pictured below. Chubby cups are a plus too

Excellent coffee and good choice of food snacks. I liked the panini. Next to Sushi Ramen if you want diversity

We didn’t have much time here unfortunately but I think it would be a great place to relax for a while to listen to some of their live music or get some work done. Right off the bat we noticed that they had a lot of good and unique options including some good vegan and vegetarian options. We mixed it up a bit and got a ubu latte which they told us was going to be pretty sweet but wasn’t too bad (compared to most Starbucks sugary drinks). We also got their seaweed rice wrap which had a tangy sauce and handful of toppings that added a nice crunch. Overall a great place to grab a morning coffee.

Absolutely the best coffee place in Hilo! It’s also next to Umekes, so location is pretty convenient. Our favorite flavor was both hot and cold Ube latte. We probably had their coffee everyday on our trip and twice on some days. great customer service highly recommend
