Ordered a Thai Milk Tea with expresso and guava cheese danish. Delicious

The best malasadas in Waikiki. Pastries are tasty and fresh too.

So so experience. Malasadas tasted similar to glazed donuts filled with either custard, mango, or guava(ordered all three flavors). The kale, cheese crossiant was flat and very light. The drip coffee was decent.

This is a great place to come and get coffee and pastries! The employees here are super nice and helpful. Coffee is made pretty quickly and very yummy too.

This is a must go pastry shop while in Honolulu! The pastries are beyond amazing, fresh, delicious. The owner is awesome and makes everything on sight and fresh the morning of - you can really taste the quality and effort he puts into his pastries. By far the best blueberry scone I've ever had! The mango/cheese danish and filled malasada donut were incredible as well! We will definitely be back!

One of the best croissant sandwiches!!! They also have other delicious stuff. We also got a donut with sprinkles, a chocolate croissant and a Malasada with no filling. All of them were so good. It’s only our 2nd day in Hawaii so we’ll definitely be back. It’s just a little shot but the employees, food and price are 100% worth it!! I wish I had a picture of how good everything was!

The iced latte and danish were delicious! The owner also does pizza at night right across! The pizza is also delicious. Owner is super nice and a fellow Midwesterner! He changed our lives by introducing us to mochi donuts and now we leave depressed because they are not available in Wisconsin. Do yourself a favor and visit!!

We tried this place due to the recommendations of other guest at the hotel we are staying at. The coffee was subpar. The malasadas were not light, airy, or fresh tasting. Many flavors are listed on the menu, but only custard and mango were available. My husband ordered a caramel macchiato. He asked for one shot to find out it was pure milk. The owner said, one shot is pure milk. My husband asked for another shot and paid for it with no complaints it was our misunderstanding. We may not be coffee gurus, but I thought it was condescending how the owner spoke to us. Simply from our experience, we are not asked that on the mainland when ordering coffee. We pitched everything a block away. Even my latte was 2/3 foam and 1/3 coffee. I enjoy going to places where owners want to educate you and be kind about their product. We should have stayed at the Hale Koa or went to another place with all different available malasadas.

We love to travel to beautiful destinations in search of the locally owned hidden gems that offer us unique quality and extraordinary food experiences. Maleko Coffee + Pastries did not disappoint and was worth every step of our early morning 2 mile round trip walk from our resort in search of the raved about malasadas. We were welcomed by the very friendly and extremely talented owner who makes everything from SCRATCH!!! The food looked so amazing that we wanted one of everything! We enjoyed the delicious coffee and our breakfast pastries were so fresh and delectable that we made a second purchase leaving with a nice pastry variety for later. Highly Recommend! We will definitely be back!
