I personally love this restaurant and appreciate the great atmosphere in a small southern town. Growing up in the area, my mother and grandmother and further back didn't always have a modern place with good food to take out of town friends. Thank you for all your hard work. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I am so disappointed! After traveling all day we were looking forward to sitting down at a local place for a bite to eat. I looked at the online menu and couldn't wait to order the Ruben
Well, after being seated and given our menus, we were told to move as the table we were sitting at was reserved. We wound up sitting in a corner near a door that was constantly getting opened and needed to be slammed to close, apparently.

The menu we viewed was completely different than the one we were given. We wound up ordering 3 salads and one meal. Would you believe that was a $70.00 dinner?? We had to ask for things multiple times, like bread and dressing. Also, after ordering a $70.00 meal, they had the audacity to charge us extra for a tiny cup of blue cheese dressing! The one good thing was that my daughter enjoyed her meal, but I'm not sure it was worth $18.00.

Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Nice menue BUT chef ruins steaks with WAY over seasoning w/ pepper and/or sauces. Like he's grown up on bad meat trying to hide the flavor of even a good piece of filet. He should lay off & trust his purveyor and know better between a good steak vs a piece of racoon road kill. If he's going to serve Bison a Suvie investment is mandatory. No amount of pepper or marinate is going to tenderize Bison. & If you like rare shrimp, he's your guy. Twice baked potato? Dry as it gets. Side of asparagus is 2 stalks not very generous for the $50/plate & the most edible thing on it. Way over priced for what is served is mostly inedible. Only reason it even has any + reviews is due to there's no other competitors in town. We go here every year in hopes that it will be better but never again. Take the added 20 minutes & go into Augusta. ☹️ OR "Country Boys" for an awesome meal w/o the atmosphere.

Excellent! My husband had the Prime Rib. Said it was the best steak he'd had in a long time! I had the Salmon. Wonderful!

Came in for lunch yesterday and, seriously, had the best burger I've EVER had. Meat was incredible! They had run out of their soup of the day so I asked for a vegetable. The chef made fresh green beans that were out of this world! He told me the secret but I won't tell!! Yum! I came back today. The philly steak and coleslaw. . oh, yeah!!
