Good Day Cafe

Ordered lunch to-go while passing through Waynesboro. The Mahi sandwich was amazing! It was grilled to perfection and the Cajun tartar sauce amped up the flavor. My sweet potato fries were also great. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Good Day Cafe is a wonderful local restaurant. A true gem in our small town. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is rather relaxing. Also, when the owner is working he takes the time to come out and speak to all of his customers. Who does that this day and time? If you are passing through Waynesboro, I suggest stopping in and tasting for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing quality and flavor. Prepared and presented with care. Everything we have eaten here has been delicious. Friendly staff and relaxed environment. Just wish they were open more nights and that they hosted brunch more often than the first Saturday.

My friend and I had lunch at the cafe for the first time today, 1/28/22. The atmosphere was very nice, older building with brick walls, which I find charming. The food, we ordered the days special, blackened mahi, squash and grits, was absolutely fabulous. One of the best meals we have had. Ordered coffee as well, brewed fresh and warmed us on a chilly day. We will be back and recommend highly.

We have tried so many places in the Augusta area and this one is fabulous! Everything we had was delicious. The owner even stopped to say hello and asked if we had any suggestions. My husband won’t stop asking to go back for the masked potatoes

Chef Kevin made the best perfectly cooked ribeye! Our friend had the newyork strip and it also was fabulous. You won't be disappointed dining here! Server Heather was kind and prompt throughout our dinner.

Amazing place!!! Food was fantastic! Waitress was wonderful and made us feel so welcome. She told us all about the restaurant and the food definitely more than measured up!! An absolute hidden gem!!!

I worked here from December 2018 until May 2019 and I loved it. Shelli is a great manager and she’s very easy to get along with. The food there was and is always phenomenal. The majority of the staff members there are good people that I thoroughly enjoyed working with and getting to know. The owner, Kevin, was a great boss overall and I enjoyed working with him and I am forever grateful I got the opportunity to. The food is always fresh and prepared when ordered, they only use the best quality ingredients for everything and many things are grown locally. They have a wide selection of items on both of their menus, they serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and have something that everyone will enjoy. I highly recommend dining here for lunch any weekday or dinner every Thursday-Saturday. I personally recommend the blueberry salad, spicy chicken wrap, key lime pie and the pork chop.
