Good Day Cafe

Hidden gem tucked away in historic Waynesboro GA. You will be pleasantly surprised! Charming atmosphere and decor. Food is good. Drinks are good. People are good. Staff will make you feel like family while filling your tummy. It was very refreshing not to be served something other than your typical southern food. Will not disappoint.

As we walked in all of the employees were sitting at the bar and all just turned and stared at us. When I asked if we were waiting to be seated or if we sat ourselves, they just said you can only sit outside. My grandmother preferred to sit inside so she asked if it would be possible to sit inside and they said no because they had full reservations. No problem. We sat outside. Even though the restaurant was empty we waited quite some time even for our drinks. Finally ordering from a pricy menu, and waiting over an hour and a half for our food. Having ordered the filet medallions I was extremely disappointed that the steaks were far from filet medallions. More like hamburger steaks, extremely fatty and hard to even chew. No one in our party ate more than a few bites of their meal. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Loved this cafe!! The food was delicious and served by a wonderful lady named Bobbie who was so friendly and a great server. The restaurant uses its old salvaged materials and artwork on the walls to make a beautiful decor. We ordered the shrimp basket with fries and a grilled cheese and French onion soup. Also enjoyed the amazing desserts. We really liked the town of Waynesboro and hope to go back someday.

Great food and friendly people. Unfortunately small portions for the price especially on the desserts. Probably taking advantage of the fact that there isn’t other restaurants around there like that or many choices.

Wonderful service! Crazy busy but she still sat us quickly and served us quickly as well. Great atmosphere! Great food! Great service! Can't wait to try even more from your menu, lunch and dinner.

Everything was wonderful and I could tell everything was homemade. Even the croutons were homemade. Service was excellent.

Good Day Cafe is a local favorite with top notch food, a classy & related vibe, and great customer service. Definitely one of my favorite establishments in this town. The food and drinks are absolutely amazing! Kevin and the staff are always accommodating. I would recommend reservations for dinner because it is popular and tends to get packed. I love this place!
