Terrible Experience
I want to start off by saying I typically never complain about waits or the quality of food from restaurants. I also normally excuse poor service but today was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
My family and I had heard good things from locals as well as family friends that trying Two Cracked Eggs was a must on our visit to Savannah. Being as it was Mothers Day, and my mom had been excited to eat there since she had heard about it on her last trip here, we made sure to try it. Bad decision. We went to one location before being told to try this one as it would have less wait. It did not. Upon arriving there was a small line but nothing to bad and we were told there would be a 25-30 minute wait. No big deal we knew it was Mother’s Day and expected to have to wait. We ended up waiting for a little over an hour for a table. At this point we were a little confused as to the long wait but still eager to eat.
We are seated and we ordered some sweet teas and our food at the same time. The teas make it to us and they are very sour. Upon telling our server she said she would make more. Never did. We ordered cokes instead. After the initial cokes we received we did not see our server again until we got our food nearly an hour after ordering. We received no refills this entire time. The food was lukewarm when it arrived and not at all worth the wait. I had the chicken and waffles and not only was the chicken the same quality as Frozen chicken fingers from Walmart but the waffle was cold and not very appealing. My family’s meals were also cold and unappetizing. My brothers potato’s were not even hot enough to melt shredded cheese. I’ve had much better meals at Waffle House. The price was also way to high for the quality of the product.
I don’t think a single guest at the establishment while we were there had a good experience as the looks on everyone’s faces told us all we needed to know. They were disappointed.
They also don’t take card and only accept cash which at this day in age in ridiculous for a restaurant especially one with multiple locations.
Extremely disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.

Long wait (+1:30 hours) for a tasteless cold breakfast. Mimosa, coffee and biscuits were good, but everything else is below average. The bacon was dry and overcooked. The scrambled eggs were not edible. The waitress was very attentive. Not recommended! I’m still waiting for the maple syrup.

We waited for 30 minutes to be seated, which was fine. Our waitress was rude, but we ordered our food. We watched as other tables around us received their food. An hour later we still had not received our food, and our waitress had never came back to check on us. We left.

I should have read reviews before giving this place a try. We’ve wanted to try it since our first time in Savannah last year. Saying we were underwhelmed is an overstatement. We were told there was a 20min wait. It ended up being about 45mins. That was fine. Once we were seated no one gave us a second look. Waiters and waitresses were walking by constantly and purposely not looking at us. We should have left at that point but eventually someone came to take our order. I got French toast and my husband got the hash. After waiting for another hour I was thinking, ‘this food better knock our socks off!’ It did not. At all. My French toast was soggy like it had been setting there for quite a while. And we make better hash at our house. We had to literally go to the table next to us to get jam, sugar and half&half bc no one would acknowledge us. Only saw our waiter once after the initial order only bc we had to find him to ask for our check. Never again. Don’t waste your time. Worst experience I’ve had in Savannah.

Terrible experience, waiting to get in 50 min outside and after get in, waiting 40 min to be served. The food was cold and the service terrible. First and last time on this place. Spend a lot of money and time for a bad experience. Not recommended at all.

We had a party of 6. No one greeted us as we entered the establishment, we sat at the largest table which was cruddy we sat anyway we were hungry .My brother went to cashier told then we needed assistance he spoke to waitress with a Hello she never opened her mouth never came to table another lady finally, came we expressed our concerns on the service which was below poor doesn't reflect well for two cracked eggs the lady told us that this had happened before with that waitress. So we got up an left walk to another restaurant not that far the Best SERVICE, food was OUTSTANDING had a great time All this took place on August 1st my. brother was celebrating his 71st birthday none of us were from GA. From the pics shown food don't look appealing.

We walked in, the hostess saw us but pretended not to see us while standing right in front of us. She finally acknowledged our presence and said they’re cash only and the wait was 30 minutes although the restaurant wasn’t even 50% full. We went to Double Wide, walked right in and sat immediately. Their service and food was incredible. Thanks for deterring us so we could find a great restaurant.

HOLY MOLY was this place a hot mess.
Im betting the positive reviews are fake since all the negative reviews say almost the exact same thing. Including this one! I literally NEVER write bad reviews, but man this is warranted. Coming from someone who is in the restaurant industry as well.
-First off, we realized we got three different versions of the same menu. Mine had different items and prices, another had mixed up descriptions and one was the actual menu. No docks for this, it happens, but that should’ve been our first red flag to how “put-together” this place is.
- Took 30 minutes to get our coffee. That’s fine! No biggie. However our waitress forgot our water. Still no biggie. HOWEVER we had to ask not only another waitress, but a manager and then hunt down our ORIGINAL waitress AGAIN for just water!!! An hour and a half has passed at this point! What in the world.
-We were told our order got lost in the ether.
- Took over 2 hours to get our food. That’s not an overstatement. Half of it was missing, the food we did actually get was luke warm at best and nothing to write home about.
-Our waitress (who was also the owners sister, apparently) told us she was hunting down walkouts down the street! Hence our lack of service. Real comforting. Given our experience we were truly not surprised. We regretted our patience at this point.
Literally the only reason there is a star is PURELY for the phenomenal jazz band. 10/10 to those dudes. 0/10 for the establishment itself.
If anyone from the restaurant is reading this PLEASE, for your own sake, shut down for a week, regroup and get your ducks in a row.

Waitress got our drink order wrong, brought uncarbonated soft drinks, we had to ask for silverware, get our own straws, and I am still currently waiting on my food while the rest of the table is done with theirs. It doesn’t even seem like they are making my order a priority cause it’s just biscuits and gravy, but it’s been over half an hour. There are better places to eat and spend your money.

The customer service was friendly and the food was great. Really loved the home made biscuits and Traffic Jam!!!
