There is no way there is a 3.9 rating on this restaurant. Quite sure the owner or manager had employees or family write positive reviews to offset the real reviews. Rating should be a 0 but that is not possible.
First off, there were four of us and two have been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. They said this is the worst restaurant (service and food) they have ever experienced. And that spoken by two people who have grace on the hospitality industry.
Took the restaurant over 2 hours to get our food to us. Then more than half of what was ordered didn’t come out or was wrong. We had to ask three waitresses for water. Didn’t receive even the water until the food arrived~ again after 2 hours. Numerous people were angry and walking out. Some paying and some not.
The food what did come was awful. Literally awful. Shocked us as we thought at least we were waiting at least for good food. VERY expensive.
Easy to see that this restaurant’s normal way of operating is dysfunction.
The bright spot was that on the second floor there was a phenomenal jazz band. Our suggestion is come listen to them and just get a coffee.

Loved this rustic place. We just got into town and we were hungry and it was the first place we saw. We had a fantastic server, Pecos, who embodied southern charm. The food was delicious, especially the bacon. A little on the pricey side, but it’s in a unique spot and down by the river. I’d highly recommend this place. My 10 year old tried the crepes with Nutella and she said they were great. My son had the Belgian waffles and he loved them. My husband and I split a sandwich and it was delicious.

Me and my family loved our visit to two cracked eggs! Their food is one of the best in the breakfast/brunch genre! I'll definitely go and eat here again! They have free WiFi as well which is a plus!

My wife and I loved the atmosphere. Very lively. And the food was delicious 😋. But the service left a lot to be desired. The wait time for the food was a bit lengthy. But there could have been staffing issues that were unaware. Overall, we loved it. Just hope they're able to work out their servicing issues.

My family and I had breakfast here, the second day it was open, the service was wonderful and the food, wow the food was amazing. It was hot, fresh and my mouth is going to crave it in the coming days. The Clothesline Bacon is as good as it sounds, thick cuts, melts in the mouth, leaves you wanting more. The service was spectacular, kept my water filled, which is hard to do in most restaurants. Definitely coming back and highly recommend it.

I have been trying to go eat here for a while. I finally got around to visiting. They didn't let me down. They have the largest cathead biscuits around. I really enjoyed eating here it was worth the wait.

Hands down the grossest place I’ve ever eaten! I would never recommend anyone to go there. Dirty ,pricey, and really gross. Some places should not be open specially when dealing with food. The server was very nice and honest I should’ve taken her hint when I asked about some thing’s and she said it was an acquired taste for something simple like shrimp and grit’s amongst others.

We were told the wait would be 25-30 minutes. Wait was 50 minutes. Finally seated and it took 50 minutes to get our food and some of it didn’t arrive and had to be requested again. Had to flag down another waitress to get drink refills. It’s obvious that there isn’t enough staff on hand and where the heck is the leadership/management? Food was good once we got it. Great biscuits. Prices were high and we were Charged for “add-ons” that were listed on the menu as part of the meal. Doubt we’ll ever go back.

Waited 30 minutes to get a seat, which was fine because that was relayed to us and was expected. But waiting 45 minutes for a biscuit and some potatoes is absolutely ridiculous! I understand being busy but when you have 5 tables empty and have been told 4 times now "the food will be up in 10 minutes" is simply not acceptable. Then being asked by the manager "well should I cancel the order"?? An absolutely stellar show of what not to do for a customer.

I think you should try this one for yourself as I am on the fence of giving it a four. Biscuit is HUGE and flavorful, actually a meal in itself just no room on the plate to open it. The homemade berry jam is good with raspberry being the predominant flavor. Grits needed salt but we're nice stoned ground. The bacon is a required taste, not to my liking but was cooked well. Sausage patty was similar to a big box style. Gravy was a disappointment...$6 for a side of half filled tiny side skillet, I would say a little more than half a cup and had too much going on for me to be called sausage gravy, was gray in color, needed pepper. Overall it is good hangover food, staff was great!
