Canopy + the Roots Coffee

I started coming to Canopy and the Roots at the beginning of my freshman year and have been here at least twice a week since then. The atmosphere is perfect for studying and socializing alike. With a intrinsic and cozy style combined with high quality staff and delicious coffee you will have a hard time staying away. Canopy and the Roots is a one in a kind type of coffee shop that I would encourage anyone and everyone to visit. And try the lavender latte you won't regret it.

In town for the weekend and glad we stumbled upon this coffee shop. The atmosphere is so nice and their lavender white cholocate drink is really delicious! Highly recommend.

Ok, you CANNOT GET COFFEE MADE WITH WHOLE, or any other milk other than oat milk. If you need creamer you get the warm gas-station half and half containers. Nice workers and atmosphere but local - and stupid - government rules eliminate milk options.

The coffee and atmosphere is amazing! However it is on the pricey side, for two large lates it’ll run you ~$12 without the membership. The baked goods and Kombucha are amazing as well, but they are on the pricey side of things. All in all, 10/10 for atmosphere; 8/10 for coffee and food, 6/10 for prices.

Will definitely recommend and come back however!

The best place for coffee, yoga, and live music. The owner is INCREDIBLY friendly and inviting. We came after our local ghost tour and were invited in for a drink. The literal definition of ‘southern hospitality’

Canopy and the Roots is by far one of my favorite coffee shops and music venues. Not only is there a great, atmospheric lounge area upstairs that is both welcoming and relaxing, but serves as one of the coolest, coziest, and most intimate music venues I've ever had the pleasure of playing. The owners treat their customers and the bands they book better than family.
Not to mention the superb coffee and treats they serve. The coffee is better than pretty much anywhere else I've been, and they are the only place we've been able to enjoy Mountain Fresh Creamery products.
Can't recommend enough.

FANTASTIC COFFEE! They have so many unique drinks that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. My husband and I came on vacation and stopped into canopy everyday because we couldn’t get enough!

I had an amazing time playing at Canopy + the Roots, they were so hospitable and took care of me from start to finish…not too mention the fantastic nitro cold brew that was off the chain.

Stop by this place if you can and support a community establishment that supports the arts!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Georgia. The environment is laid back but also fashionable with gold accents, wood, and greenery. The peanut butter latte with oatmilk is an epiphany and the barista was such a good conversationalist. I went back twice in two days! Definitely worth the time.
