Canopy + the Roots Coffee

Incredible coffee. The person serving was an expert at it! 10/10 also the atmosphere has great vibes! Would recommend to anyone!

My mom and I enjoyed a Take This Comedy show, which was really fun. The two-story venue is a beautiful space, and the staff is friendly. Holly, the owner, gave us some recommendations of other places to check out during our stay in Dahlonega. All and all, it was a great experience.

Such a kind and inviting staff! We LOVED the coffee. The baristas were so happy to recommend drinks for us. We stayed a bit and enjoyed the atmosphere. A must-visit for anyone stopping by town.

The barista stayed open 20 minutes late just to serve my sister and I and to make sure that we knew about their awesome local business. The interior is unique and inviting as well as a great vibe. Definitely worth a stop and the coffee is AMAZING.

Canopy + the Roots Coffee is the best! I held my SIL bridal shower here and they were so accommodating and patient. The vibe of the Roots was amazing and we had a great time. We also used the token coffee bar where you gave your guests a token and they could go up to the coffee shop and get a free coffee! (We paid the tab at the end of the event). Instead of having the choice of an open bar, we opted to use it to set up our food. It was a wonderful experience and recommend this place to anyone needing an event space!

We had a wedding rehearsal cocktail party at Canopy and Roots. About 90 attended the event and we rented the entire space. Braden was great to work with, served specialty drinks (highly recommend Gin Fizz) / wine / beer, and we had Chastain Southern Catering. Guests loved the vibe! The younger crowd gravitated to the speak-easy bar setting downstairs and the older crowd gravitated to the street level coffee shop. We wanted something different from the wedding (held at Kaya Vineyard) venue and Canopy and Roots was perfect!

an all around incredible place! AMAZING baked goods and drinks. so awesome to have gluten free options as well! the listening room has a super cool, cozy, artist-focused atmosphere, and the people are super sweet!

The workers were so nice and helpful! Hosting events can be overwhelming, especially an entire sorority, but it did not phase them and they were so great!

We LOVE Canopy + the Roots Coffee! We’ve loved their coffee shop for a while, but recently threw my daughters birthday party there and fell in love even more! We had a tea party theme and the green room was the PERFECT space! The staff was wonderful and easy to work with. We got so many compliments on the space and I didn’t have to do much to decorate! 10 out of 10 recommend!

I had a great experience as a customer for their coffee shop, and then decided to host a bridal shower in their yoga studio! It was such a cute space and the event coordinator was extremely helpful! Great communication throughout the whole process, and the pricing was very reasonable!
