Black Gold Coffee Roasters

I went here last year a few times everything was good. When I came here on Friday I ordered my regular large americano and a large latte. They both tasted terrible and weak I even called to see what happened the next day and their excuse was that they put more water in a large cup. My wife does not like strong latte and it was way to milky for her. When I go to kahwa I'm not sure how many shots they use but I never have that issue. I'm really disappointed over the experience I feel like the coffee size should reflect the cup size by taste. I order a large because I want more coffee not because I want more water or milk. I can make perfectly good americano or latte at home and don't need to stop by a coffee shop. The only reason I gave them 1 extra star is that the decor is good and they roast beans inside that you can buy. UPDATE: my wife stopped by and got some coffee so she bought me a medium one with 2 double shots it was better this time. I'm still upset about the last time.

Would’ve been quite a better experience if I wasn’t asked to turn down my sons phone 😊 I’m usually well aware of my surroundings and try to be respectful of everyone so I turned my sons phone to a quarter of the volume not even half way. Which was still apparently too loud because “it echos in their building”. Should probably should get that fixed. You have a room full of many people talking loud, socializing and laughing and that’s completely fine but my phone that my 1 year old who was seated the whole time quietly was bothersome 😬 Coffee was mediocre. I appreciate small businesses and love supporting them but in this case I regretted not going to Starbucks instead. ☺️

The liquid crack may be the best iced coffee I’ve ever had.

Ordered two bagels with cream cheese to go. What I got was two bagels with cream cheese in hand. What in gods name leads you to believe that I want to pay you 4 dollars each and still have to put the cream cheese on myself. If I'm ordering something to go I shouldn't have to put it together. The best part... These bagels are the same bagel you buy at Publix or Walmart. You could buy a pack of six for 4 dollars and add your own cream cheese. Nothing to write home about. I walked out without complaining because the cashier was extremely nice when we were placing our order.

As a company that uses Black Gold Coffee Roasters for our marketing needs and events we have nothing but positive experiences with their office. The owners treat staff very well and we have a great relationship with them! The clients are amazing and never disappoints! Best Coffee and Staff!

I realized that I purchased a wrong bag of coffee when I got home. Called the store and was told to come back to exchange it. Drove 30 minutes back and was told by the person in charge that they would not do it due to sanitary reasons. The bag was sealed and not opened or altered in any way. Asked for an exception, since I was told over the phone to come back for an exchange. She wouldn’t do it. Horrible service!

Black Gold is a wonderful watering hole for all coffee fanatics. They are everything that every coffee shop needs to be. Intensely focused on the product, the customer and the overall experience.

I love and respect this place (and the staff) because they keep it real. Perfect example is the responses provided to negative comments. No other store would waste their time.

Not only does this place have truly amazing ( somewhat addicting ) artisan coffee and food, they also have a very accommodating and friendly staff! Aside from this, my new favorite thing about Black Gold is that they do not impose their personal beliefs on their customers. I personally have chosen not to support any business that attempts to take away my personal freedoms and right to choose, and recently that has made going just about anywhere quite difficult. I want to give a big thank you to everyone at Black Gold Coffee Roasters for giving customers the respect that so many others are not. When I entered the shop I was happily greeted and welcomed, a far cry from other establishments that often times yell across the store for you to mask up or get out. I wish I could say I was greeted with a smile, but I do understand that having the staff wear masks can make some people feel more comfortable. This location has informed me that they are, and will continue to follow any state orders or mandates. I have since informed my friends that live in the area, and within an hour they now have 3 new customers based on this information alone. Just wait until they try the coffee!

Black Gold, there is a large community of people looking for places to go where they won’t feel shamed for exercising their freedom of choice, and it is growing by the day. Thank you so much, from all of us! I live in Lakewood Ranch, but I will be your loyal customer every Wednesday when I go into Venice for work. My only regret is that google does not allow to give 20 stars!

Wonderful comfy place to relax and have GOOD coffee. Had a nice chat with Gary about travel to South America. Very nice guy.

We enjoyed our visit today. Our coffee and food were delicious. This is an extremely busy location.
