I wish this place was open late, but also happy the quality is more important than having subpar employees. Coffee and service is an A++ and their breakfast sandwiches are really good! 👍... Update this place is still A++

Excellent local coffee spot in Venice,FL. Relaxing and cozy cafe. Tried the Double con panna (espresso with whipped cream) the espresso used is smooth and nutty. They have their own roastery in house which is very nice. Great selection of beverages. Definitely worthy.☕

Was looking for a quick breakfast close to a car dealership that my friend needed to drop her car in for service.for a couple of hours. We hit the goldmine (Black and Gold actually). The coffee is as downright amazing as the regular crowd in line was promising it is. As was the egg and cheese croissant, breakfast panini, and zucchini bread. I bought the chocolate/apricot Holiday beans so I’m reliving the coffee experience again this morning! THE ICING ON THE CAKE? When they are roasting in the giant roaster, (which is every 5 minutes it seems) the bean ‘hulls’ of sorts cascade down onto the sidewalk from above as if it’s the appearance of snow right here in S Florida. Excellent coffee! Spacious layout with plenty of low top tables inside and out. Fully wheelchair accessible parking, entrance, and restroom. Super friendly staff and customers.

Coffee smelled good and my daughter enjoyed it. The food was ok and the prices were high. Atmosphere waa friendly and the place was a popular meet up.

Saw this place was highly rated. Ended up coming 2 days in a row. Iced coffee, regular dark roast and bagels were delicious. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Roast the beans while you wait. Great spot.

Truly great coffee, muffins are delicious, staff is super friendly. It is a roastery and you can see it in action - the smell of roasting coffee is out of this world.

I love coffee and they have breakfast and lunch.
