Central Diner (formerly Central Coffee Shoppe)

This place is adorable. I’m sad I hadn’t discovered it sooner- The food was great and the service was fantastic. We brought our dog and sat outside and both our server and the owner (Chris) were top notch. Highly recommend thanks for a lovely breakfast! We will be back!

Great drinks and selection of cooler items with vegan pastries abs munchies. Great place ti sit and mett new people of just work on a project.

Two egg omelettes chock w goodies, fast and friendly service and the most honest home fries. Seriously these spuds were fixing to sprout yesterday. So fresh. Fuel here, nice n early. This bread is fully buttered.

Central coffee shop is one of my favorite breakfast spots! They are extremely fast, friendly and the food is always amazing! The food is also always fresh and hot at some of the lowest prices in downtown St. Pete. This is my go-to, try it! You won’t be disappointed

Very good early morning breakfast spot!!

Delicious food! I had corned beef hash, grits, rye toast and I substituted tomato slices for the eggs. Everything was delicious, including the coffee. The huge, thick, flavorful slices of what I think was Beefsteak tomato were exceptionally flavorful. UPDATE July 13, 2022: HOURS WEEKDAYS 6:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. WEEKENDS 7:30 A.M - 2:00 P.M.

Love this place for breakfast! Great food, great service, and dog friendly. Everything is really good, and the pancakes are better than most other places.

The guy who waited on or table was great. It was chaotic and busy, and it was clear the other 2 employees there with him were brand new. He did great managing their questions and mistakes while still running the restaurant by himself. He was polite and courteous to everyone, despite obviously being in a stressful situation. I wish I'd asked for his name, but it was the guy in the red Jordan's. The food was fantastic, I especially loved the corn beef hash.

I never write reviews, but thought this place deserved some recognition as it was one of the best breakfast places I've ever been to. Everything from the amazing food to the quick friendly and extremely attentive service. Easy 10/10 highly recommend.
