Update Feb 6th 2022 brunch date. I got the brisket sandwich ( brisket, onions, peppers, and passed) it was fantastic would get again. The chicken and waffles on the other hand, was not my favorite. Bottom layer was waffle and everything piled on top. Grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, eggs, and gravy on top. Grill chicken was seasoned well. My opinion, if the waffle were by itself and the gravy should have been in a separate bowl. The gravel and all the toppings made the waffle to mushy. Get the brisket sandwich, can't go wrong

Went there Sunday morning, got there about 10:30am and got a good seat but it started filling up pretty quickly after that. Was surprised to see a barber shop inside separated from the dining room by windows. Ordered, service was quick and a very short wait for our food. The kitchen staff was on it. Server was very attentive to our every need. Food was pretty good and decent portion size. Good value for the price. We will be back.

their mocha iced coffees (regular & white chocolate) are both flavorful but you definitely still can taste the coffee, not too sweet! ☺️

The food was overly salty. We has the breakfast taquitos and the breakfast burrito. Not sure if they had a bad day or not. The The restaurant was very clean with a lot of charm.

Really good food & excellent service in the streetside cafe. Had the Early Bird Scramble which was quite tasty, but had a bit of gristle, the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars. Also adjacent to the Penton House barbershop.

Wow! I am a little mad that it took me so long to try this place. Everything was phenomenal. The best alligator sausage I've had, probably ever. I tried the mac with the gator sausage and pimiento cheese and I will definitely be back for more of that. So good. Crazy good. Plus, they have Drowsy Poet coffee which I was not aware of, so that was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress was very friendly and made some great recommendations. The place itself is cozy and inviting, perfect lunch or casual dinner atmosphere. There were a few vegetarian options on the menu as well, for the veggie peeps out there. ;) Highly recommended! Definitely not a place to miss.

Definitely a place to try. Cheese grits are great, bacon is crispy but the waffles may be a bit crispy too. They offer different styles of coffee. Our waiter made a mistake and ordered the wrong one then blamed the customer when questioned why he brought it back. Although he wasn't loud, it was still within earshot of the costumer. We had one side order forgotten and one cold dish but I like to think it was just a one time thing not what the general experience will be for most as service can differ between people. Although there were a few other opportunities for improvement I still recommend the brunch visit at this cute little cafe. It has good atmosphere.

The smoked turkey wrap was delicious, and large enough for 2 people! I loved the cranberry pecan slaw and also the broccoli slaw. The service was also outstanding. I will be back!

Went here for the first time for a little brunch on Sunday. What a cool little cafe! I had been curious since seeing it with the lights on a few evenings ago, and I am really pleased with what I found. Great service: our waitress was very kind and helpful. Plus our two food orders came out super fast. Great atmosphere: they had two live jazz musicians there playing smooth background music. Delicious food: I got the Aragon Cafe Sunrise Breakfast and my date ordered the French Toast. Both were so tasty and well made. Excellently made collard greens were a big plus, and the waffles in the sunrise breakfast were perfectly made! Really looking forward to going back again soon to try their other meals.

The Aragon Cafe has the perfect cafe aesthetic and certainly the food to go with it. I had the Bacon Mac and the Shrimp and Alligator over mashed potatoes. Hot and hearty. 🙏🏼 And good pricing too for the portion size!
