Flaco's Cuban Bakery

Very friendly staff. Cool little hangout. Seems to be popular with the younger crowd 18-25ish 🤔 either way it was tasty. Great portion for the price. Lots of great reviews on the individual dishes. I had the bowl with shredded beef and habanero mango sauce. The sauce was not that spicy but flavorful. The bowl itself was pretty heavy. Could have used some acid maybe a squirt if lemon or lime before serving it along some lettuce to lighten it up a bit. Otherwise I'd go back and maybe try some of their pastries next.

Can't go wrong with the media noche, the ropa burrito, or the bowls. Mango salsa is yummy! If they have tres leches, it's so good.

After eating the food I can say it was alright. The food came out cold but the tortilla was burnt. I ordered two borricos and after everyone after us was served I got them both 48 minutes later. I did not know that two burritos was (against the Flacos law) but I will not do it again because I will not be coming back.

dairy free burrito update… made with dairy 48 min later. Had to be re-made. Did not label types of borritos whether with tofu or chicken esc.

Traditional cuban fare. Done right. Hole in the wall style. The complex has a large bar with stage, plus an outdoor space.

The ideal restaurant. Great food with wonderful flavor for a fantastic price. What more could a person want?

Food is good but it is just overly loud for midday. I avoid bars that are this loud, so an eatery with music this loud would not be on my list - I would not eat inside again. Could barely be heard by the gentleman taking our order. But, the food is great so we will just eat outside etc. next time. Recommend getting a quesito no matter what you order!

Food is good but you must be really drunk for it to hit and then it’s almost an achievement to get it. Last time I went there one of my cringe work colleges was hanging out inside the store barefoot like huckleberry fin and awkwardly made out with the manager in front of me and my friends.

They have a really good Cuban sandwich! They also have nachos, tacos, craft beer, and other options.
Everyday from 4pm-10pm they have BOGO drafts. Basically for 7 dollars you get two 12 oz drinks! They also have free concerts/live music in the street. Their Facebook page is usually pretty up to date on events.

I've been here sober one time out of like 50 if that gives you an idea of what the place is like. 11/10 would recommend
