Start off with great customer service. Everyone had a great positive attitude, very helpful. I had the Henderdon mill scramble and hashbrowns O'brian. Pertectly made with lots of flavor. I look forward to returning with friends and family.

Amazing breakfast, my favorite mountain town restaurant

I would never eat here again. Me and my family were passing though town and stop to eat here we paid for our food and sat down. Then a man came out of the kitchen and began to scream and yell at the lady at the register. He tell her why is she take more orders because they are closed which I had no idea they closed at 2 and she Proceeds to tell him that we were all in line before 2 and she needed to serve us. So he continues to yell at her in front of us and walks back to the kitchen. Which made us feel very uncomfortable. Then they messed up order and got mad because my mom asked them to bring here what she had order and not take what they brought her. So then we began to eat and my son gets halfway through his hamburger and bites into a big piece of paper in his hamburger is hamburger. My son who is only 10 begins to gag and gross out. We felt so uncomfortable finishing our food and so unwelcome we'll never return again and caution others not to eat here.

Great food at reasonable prices.
We've been coming here for a decade (though they've recently moved), and will continue to come here.
Quick service from nice staff and food that's dialed in.
Friendly to everyone, they welcome skiiers, bikers, and hunters alike. Happy they are in a better place now, hope they stay for a long time!

Thank for doing such a great job!

have only had take-out from Mountain Lyon over the past months but it is our go-to lunch place [used to be a go-to breakfast for post-gym refueling, but we haven't been to the gym in a year so we've progressed to lunch]. they are really quick with take-out and picking up your food is easy. everyone working always has a mask on and they have been very polite when asking customers to wear masks while waiting for their own pick up or tables. overall, great experience and definitely recommend for take-out [or dine-out at the tented tables which look like a great option!].

Every time I come down from the mountains, I have to come to this restaurant. The kind waiters make me feel at home, and they help you whenever you need anything. The food is legendary, with no menu item being yucky or bad. The green chili is easily the best ever, and every time I come I take home a jar. My only critique is the atmosphere of the new location. It is not as cozy, but as they have only been in this new spot for just 2 weeks from the time of this review, I am sure that it will drastically improve.

What a gem! Great food and lightning fast service. Our family ate here for lunch and everyone loved their meal. The food is all so flavorful and it feels like scratch cooking. We’ll definitely be back when we’re visiting town again!

Awesome cafe. They closed at 2pm and we called at about 1:40pm and they said come on over. I thought that was really accommodating. Menu has many options. Kids loved the French toast sticks. The veggie sandwich on sourdough was really tasty as was the veggie burrito. This was my first time dining in a restaurant since mid march due to covid and I felt very comfortable.

Always fresh and delicious from the many items to choose from! Wait staff friendly and very efficient. Atmosphere is comfy and clean. The view from windows aren’t bad at all!! You’ll never leave hungry that is for sure! The owners are amazing too!

Quirky little mountain cafe with a home-y feel and touches of Colorado wild-life sprinkled throughout the restaurant. Great place to come if you’re hungry. The food portions are huge! Our service was a bit slow but it was to be expected during the 11am-12pm Sunday brunch rush hour. The bottomless coffee was pretty bad so if you are a die hard coffee lover like we are, maybe skip the coffee :) Other than that, our food was tasty and the service we received was warm and welcoming.
