Went to try some Asian food while we were on our way to sand dunes co. Flavors were not to the par and didn’t meet my expectation for a Asian food. The person working there was nice and friendly. Chicken teriyaki we ordered needed some more flavors imo. Overall 4/5. Good for quick casual bite on the highway.

This is my 2nd time here while visiting Salida. The food is always healthy and refreshing, just what you need after a hike.

One of my favorite stops on the way home from Monarch. Beef pho and egg rolls for the win! Haven't had something there I didn't like.

Thai is my favorite, and so I was happy to see this stop during a long drive from Pagosa to Denver. Unfortunately I couldn't handle more than a few bites. Food seemed several days old, and may have gone bad. Service was nice, but I hope they don't make somebody sick.

"Thai food for people who don't know what Thai food is" comes to mind. It's not bad but given that there are now two outstanding Thai restaurants in town, there's no reason to go here. Just drive another five minutes and pay a little more for a vastly better meal. The atmosphere is very much that of a road stop, which isn't necessarily bad. But the food is essentially Thai-ish food, prepared like cheap (Americanized) Chinese food. That kind of preparation works well enough for Chinese food, but is simply insufficient for Thai food, so it comes out very bland. Which is the one thing Thai food isn't allowed to be.

Food was excellent and the service so friendly. It's not fancy, but they serve reasonably priced authentic Thai food. As good as any we have had in Colorado.

Thai Mini Cafe is a gem. My family and I have been coming here for years on our travels from Denver to the San Luis Valley, and it’s always delicious and the service friendly. Great vegan and vegetarian options. Be sure to see the menu at the front desk, which includes items not on the main menu. Recommend the Tom yum soup, green curry, pad see ew…really, it’s all great.

Friendly and attentive staff prepared the two entrees after I ordered for takeout. I asked for super-spicey on both red curry (shrimp) and drunken noodles. Both were really good and the heat level was perfect--plenty hot, but not hot enough that you'd reach for milk or need to stop eating or get hiccups. We were surprised and satisfied and will be back.

Staff were super friendly, and food was tasty but for just veggies and rice it felt like a very small portion for what I spent. Appreciated their awareness that some people don't want fish sauce in their food!

The food was fantastic. Had the steamed veggies in peanut sauce, the green curry with tofu, and the Tom la gaí, all of them were absolutely delicious.
