Great food. Great coffee. Great atmosphere! We even snagged some awesome gifts for family back home.

I drove through on July 4th, 2020. And stopped by to get a coffee. During the COVID outbreak in full swing, the person preparing the drinks was not wearing a mask. This is completely unacceptable and shows a complete lack of respect for their customers safety! I would strongly urge everyone to not support business that do not care about their customers health. If they are not wearing a mask in plain view during a pandemic, then who knows what else goes on behind the scenes.

I’m local, I love Root House and I frequent fairly often. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is excellent, and the food and coffee are some of the best. My one and only complaint is that your hot lids do not fit your cups and I spill hot coffee almost every time I visit. Hopefully you will be able to find a better solution!

I got to meet the owner Chrissy! She’s super sweet and friendly! Ella was at the register and was also awesome.

Coffee was great! We got a bag of coffee for home and a cool mug. The peanut butter cookies were bomb! We actually went back for another later after our first visit!

The shop will take your money! So many cool things! I really liked the hats and stationary available!

Coffee is great! It’s pretty sweet, but the flavor is still delicious. The barista was very terse — she interrupted my sister at one point before she finished ordering — but maybe it was just a bad day. It’s a pretty decent coffee place to stop in Pagosa overall!

Annabelle went above and beyond! I was out walking my dog on a beautiful snowy day. We walked by and a warm drink sounded amazing but I didn’t want to leave the pooch outside while I went in. Annabel happened to come outside and she ended up ordering and bringing me my drink. She really made my day. I’ll definitely go back! And the matcha was amazing as well. Not too sweet but not too earthy either.

First and last visit. Very unfriendly staff. Was not greeted or thanked. Not even a smile. Ordered 2 different lattes peppermint white chocolate and Lavender white chocolate,both were very bitter. Probably the worst we have had. Waste of money.

This place is amazing! The staff is awesome and the cinnamon rolls are huge!

A little hard to find, but worth it. Down an alley just of the main street of Pagosa Springs (Hwy 160l. They have a full coffee menu and pastries as well. Good pricing, a large drip coffee is $2.50. Great coffee. Wish I had bought a few pounds of the bagged coffee. Very cute shop with an outside patio with a little view of the San Juan River. If you like coffee in any form, don't miss this place.

Our favorite Coffee Shop stop in Pagosa! We made several purchases in the store. Their cinnamon rolls are amazing, and their Tobacco Candle is one of my favorites (I took some home as gifts)! Also Coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had!
