Great coffee, cute shop selling not only delicious coffee drinks and pastries but also great artisan items. Excellent espresso drinks😋 the location is also 100% beautiful place!

Amazing coffee - I got the house latte with oat milk and my S/O got the spicy chai. You know it’s a good spot when they ask, “Sweet or spicy chai?” when you order. A little expensive but definitely worth it for the quality. Baked goods were great as well.

Cool atmosphere. There is a patio that has a view of the hot springs and allows dogs. The coffee was good, but we liked Higher Ground coffee better.

I love this place. They know exactly what vibe they are going for and they nailed it. There coffee is excellent, the staff is friendly, and they put baileys in my dirty chai which has become my new favorite morning cocktail for vacation. It was great to look around the little shop while we waited for our drinks.
We will certainly be coming back here often when we return to Pagosa.

Super yummy coffee! House latte was so good!

I've been traveling to Pagosa since 2012; it's been a pleasure to get comfortable for the area shops. Root House is one of my all time favorite places to be. It has grown! Whoa! Waited in line for twenty minutes to order a drink (they were that busy). Both drinks were wonderfully made (my wife loved the House Slushie), and we had a great time exploring all of the items that were for sale (clothes, hats, coffee beans...).

Love seeing Root House finding such dynamic success!

I got the house special latte iced, it was perfect, not too sweet or bitter! Super nice space and cute shop as well!

Great cozy coffee shop/store and tasty drinks 👌🏻 we had hot chocolate, Root latte with oat milk and an americano.

Nice atmosphere. Decent coffee. Haven’t tried the pastries but they look good.
