The boba choices here are unbelievable! Always delicious, always quick and the setting is one of a kind comfortable and interesting. A MUST visit place in Durango ❤️

Staff is very nice. The inside is spacious yet cozy. Their Boba tea is absolutely amazing. Haven't tried too much of the food, but what I did try I enjoyed.

This cafe is a wonderful place to come and hang out with little kids (toddler age and younger typically). There's an upstairs work area that you can stay in while your kids play downstairs. It also offers the space for events in the evening, and the overall setup for that is great for groups of 2-10 people.

The Smiley Cafe is one AWESOME place! The people there are super nice and very friendly! Whitney in particular has made sure to make every drink unique and fun and every interaction memorable! The food, from another local business named “Zawadi,” is excellently crafted and full of unique twists on classic dishes. The Tomato Bisque is our personal favorite!

Smiley Cafe offers many unique coffees and is the only place in Durango to get boba teas in many different forms. They also have a wide selection of alternative milks, including Oat milk.

All in all, The Smiley Cafe is well worth the experience!!

Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Their hot mocha latte did not taste good at all. Not sure if it was the coffee, the syrup they use, or both. We were waiting for quite a bit while people who ordered after us were getting their orders very quickly. The lady at the counter even forgot to bring our muffins when she set the drink out. To make things even worse, the blueberry muffin was bland, mushy and some of the blueberries tasted terrible. The coffee cake muffin was even worse. Couldn't even take more than two bites of it because it was flavorless, dry as heck, dense, and honestly just disgusting. It was like I had a mouthful of thick, powdery sand

Smiley Cafe is a unique experience. They also offer African food as well as many unique drinks. They're located inside the smiley building which is an old school and it's really cool rented out office spaces now.

Atmosphere, strong coffee, delicious treats, good prices. So far this is my favorite for atmosphere since the bean moved. The best part is parking on 3rd so you don't have to pay....hopefully 3rd doesn't go permit only. Also there is a piano.

Lots of gluten free options but drinks are sometimes inconsistent. All in all a nice affordable gluten free place

Positives: EV charging. Nice building. One friendly person behind the counter. Negatives: One not so friendly person behind the counter. A patron on the couch by the front door give me a rude look when I sat down across from her. She was on the phone nonstop and seemed to think that the entire section of the place was her own private office.

Mocha was phenomenal, hot and iced (although large was kinda small being 1/2 ice) wifi was blazing, atmosphere was busy but there were quieter areas and outside. -2 stars for emotionally, mentally and spiritually vacant employees, must be a requirement or they're all friends? I get that mumble rap and giving no 🦊 is all the rage, but even the slightest half smile will make customers feel more welcome and stay longer. Id come back only for the wifi, otherwise I'll stick to Raider Ridge Cafe, they're real people and not millennial robots 🤖
