Absolute delight! From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty, even though they were half an hour to closing!! Get the mocha, so tasty!!!!

Chocolate is good. Highly recommend their toffy milk chocolate. They also have traditional hot chocolate. Staff was helpful in making selections and guiding me through the store. Pretty sure staff thought I was stealing. Better safe than sorry, so I get it.

This is a must visit local chocolate shop. Amazing hot chocolate, great truffles, and lots of great gift options to bring home. We booked a family chocolate making tour online to keep the kids busy over Christmas break and it was amazing.

Stuffy atmosphere, rude management. I witnessed a presumed manager approach a family struggling with some passionate little ones and he did not appear to offer help, rather, that family left soon after the interaction looming extremely upset. You sell chocolates and hot cocoa and aren’t welcoming to kids? I couldn’t imagine anything sillier than that. Why not offer them a little bowl of whipped cream to spoon sprinkles onto? Costs you nothing and makes the whole day for that family. The chocolates looked nice but not worth not being able to bring my children for fear of being asked to leave. Shame on you. Do better!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I witnessed an employee asked a family with small children to leave the shop a few days ago. Their sweet children were upset and they were trying to calm them. Instead of perhaps offering something to help, the employee asked them to leave because they were "disruptive". Take your money and business somewhere else, there are plenty of other great spots!

This is a busy place! Great chocolate selection to enjoy on site or purchase to take with you! Staff is friendly and helpful. The place to go for discerning chocolate lovers!

I am beyond disgusted at what I witnessed this weekend while visiting this coffee & chocolate shop. Two toddlers were having a tough time, and while the parents were tending to them, and an employee told them to leave. I was by the table and absolutely horrified at the lack of compassion. I will never enter this once loved shop again. And if you have young children, you may want to reconsider too.

I was googling AC&C to send a friend their location when I came across this awful review. As longtime patrons, we’re in Durango a lot of the times throughout the year as we are Iron Horse participants, skiers and hikers, and this was our to go coffee place. I’m sorry that Danielle and her family had to endure this humiliating experience. Midigate?! They obviously don’t even know the meaning. My family and my cycling companions will be taking our business elsewhere.

The thing that blew me away here was just how invested every employee was in making sure you were having a good time. Everybody was working together to do everything they could for you. Plus, the chocolate and drinks were amazing!

Just witnessed an extremely uncomfortable situation between a manager and some patrons. Saw the manager walk up to criticize and reprimand a family with toddlers because they were crying. The parents were tending to them and attempting to calm them down but the manager unnecessarily scolded them worsening the situation. Instead of showing compassion and understanding the manager was rude and judgmental. Don’t come here if you have kids!!!
