R & R Coffee Cafe

The 2 stars is for the good coffee. But the young girls working there today were not so pleasant. I was sitting at the bar and these two girls making the coffee were talking about how they “hate children” after a large family walked in and then started making fun of a customers outfit and long over the top nails. I don’t know that I’ll go back with snobby unprofessional staff like that.

Still my local favorite since I was a resident of Black Forest and continue to go there at least once a week even though I no longer live in the forest. The food is great and the coffee is a staple in my house. Keep up the good work Ryan and staff. :)

Went to the cafe via google search and being in the area. The kiosk ordering was confusing and no one offered to help. Which is fine, I guess. I tipped when we ordered and wish I would’ve waited because the service was terrible. Three of the five plates which came out were sent back because they were cold. The young girl who was “helping” us rolled her eyes, didn’t say anything, and just walked away with our food. She never came back to apologize nor explain the extra 20 minute wait because they were making the order over. We ordered an extra coffee flight when the first set of drinks was delivered and it took nearly 30 minutes and talking to the manager/owner. The manager/owner was very kind and apologetic but it sucks we had to ask for him in the first place. We sat next to the “secret” room and workers would squeeze by our table, smacking the table and chair with the door and not one excused themselves or said sorry. We ended up standing up and moving the table away from the wall and door because we were obviously in their way.
We have a wedding in a few months and we’re hoping to find somewhere to recommend to our family flying in from out of state and I won’t be recommending this place.

Ryan had the best coffee around, hands down. We've been customers since he started and love to see everyone else supporting this great local business.

Tasty food! Liked the atmosphere. Recommended by family for their crepes! streamlined ordering process, online and had delivery to the table. Almost didn't come here because of recent bad reviews, but thought we'd give it a try. Saturday 10am sat down right away and had our food in about 20-25 minutes.

Great place to stop for truly great coffee. We’re lucky to have R&R in the Black Forest and the great coffee they provide compared to places like Starbucks etc.

I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t and live anywhere near. Also if you’re in the Forest start getting your morning coffee & danish there instead of Starbucks and help support a business in the Forest otherwise pretty soon it’ll be Starbucks and McDonald’s on the corners instead of local owned businesses!

Personally one of my favorites. Hayley makes wonderful blended mocha and frozen hot chocolate. I love the iced green tea also. My daughter and I highly recommend.

Been here many times over the past several years and used to be a family favorite. Sadly the service has gone down hill with certain employees who are very careless and disrespectful.
On top of that the food is extremely overpriced and not even that good. This goes beyond inflation.

Fabulous food. Great coffee house atmosphere for good conversation. Prices are a good value on excellent food.
