I wish they were more consistent with their food and coffee. One day, it’ll be the best breakfast and latte I’ve ever had and the next day I go, I have multiple complaints from curdled soup to overly sweet latte drinks (and yes, I order the same drink every time, it’s how it is made).
Give it a try, and then give it another try if they don’t impress the first time.

A black forest hidden gem. I didn't know that they were more than a coffee shop, but just went with our neighbors for brunch and had an excellent omelet, while my wife had a bbq sandwich which she said was one of the best she's ever had. They serve breakfast and lunch up until 1pm. All their food is freshly prepared on site. Their breads and pastries are just like Mom used to make. Definitely worth a trip and our neighbors said the coffee is sooo good

The food is delicious and fresh, and the staff is friendly. Price is reasonable considering that everything nowadays is so expensive. You don't get much on your plate but definitely enough. The ambiance is simple but charming, and would definitely recommend.

UPDATE May 25: Spoke with Owner/Manager Ryan. He apologized for the poor experience, promised to do better and asked us to return. We will try R&R again soley based on Ryan's professionalism and willingness to make things right. Looking forward to the next visit.
May 20: Save your $. You're better off eating at McDonalds. Let's be honest here... we live in the age of mediocrity and R$R is no different. Expect less than average food, long wait times for coffee, an indecipherable ordering system, non attentive staff, barely clean restrooms and "I give no sh#ts" service. The 2 egg plate was a joke - teeny tiny portions and one bacon strip broken into 4 pieces. Stupid place, shameful value and terrible experience. Pity the good people of Black Forest. Pity for accepting such mediocrity.

The girl at the counter serving coffee is treating customers like garbage, telling people she is too busy to make their coffee meanwhile talking/flirting with other employees. We waited nearly an hour to receive food, there seems to be no manager at all. There is 0 pressure on employees to do their jobs, and the tables were all filthy. Definitely need to make sure there is a manager on shift, especially on a Sunday with the large rushes.

Amazing place and amazing place, it's so cute and it has small town vibes! Highly recommend. Didn't try them but the homemade doughnuts looks awesome! Highly recommend the steak and eggs for breakfast!

First time here. No paper menus so you have to order on a kiosk or by QR code . The food was okay, I ordered pancakes.
One thing I can say which was an annoyance was the girl behind the counter, dark hair, blue shirt,, she was obnoxiously loud talking to a customer in front of her. She was saying things that may come off offensive to others and even used foul language with children customers coming in and standing there. So loud I could barely converse with my friend next to me. Other than that the diner is super cute

We have been coming here for years, since the old location across the street. Ryan is so passionate about the coffee and the food. The ambience is quaint, the food is fantastic, especially the coffee marinated and glazed bacon!!!! I love bringing visiting friends here, a great experience tucked behind the tree line of Black Forest.

Been to R&R twice now and both times have been amazing. The coffee is top notch and unexpected at this quiet coffee shop in the woods. Food is executive chef quality, coffee selection is very robust, and the baristas are very talented. The owner Ryan is beyond friendly and makes you feel like family.

Came here with my dad, got coffee and breakfast. I hadn't been in R&R for awhile, and omg. I love what they've done with the interior, and my breakfast was unreasonably good.
Unreasonable in that I am small, I can't eat a lot at once, and I finished almost every bit of it. It was the chicken fried chicken breakfast, so good, I'm sooo full. Also, the latte was excellent, but since getting breakfast at a coffee place is a bit of a gamble, I have to make sure to rave about the food.
TLDR: Cozy atmosphere, great coffee, I highly recommend getting breakfast (chicken fried chicken), and the staff are delightful.
