I can not at this time write a review on the skis and bindings I purchased as our snow here in the east is gone. I will provide reviews once the 2018-19 season is underway. But, I can review the service I received from Cripple Creek Backcountry. I am a experienced Alpine (55y) and Nordic (50y) skier who is planning on trying Alpine Touring. There are few shops in eastern Canada that sell AT equipment and even fewer with experienced staff. So, I was forced to go online for my purchase, which made me rather nervous. Doug at Cripple Creek was excellent; providing almost immediate answers to my questions and making suggestions that were obviously backed by experience and careful thought. I feel confident about the equipment I purchased and look forward to a new ski experience next season.

Cripple creek was fast and responsive on the shipment, their inventory list was accurate. Had been searching these Technica Tour Pro boots and they had it and shipped it promptly for me to hit the BC over the weekend, would highly recommend them.

I needed backcountry skis, hard to find Tele bindings, skins and immediately. I found what I needed on their website, spoke to the folks there to confirm availability and pricing and within the week I had my new rig shipped to my home . . . They were able to mount the bindings with a boot size confirmation and get it out the door quickly. Once arrived I went to trim the skins to the skis to have found that they already did for me. Awesome. Great people, great service, experts for the backcountry.

Was having difficulty finding a good skin for someone just getting into touring, CCBC took the time to steer me in the right direction and even offer to adjust the skin before shipping. Even though it was an online transaction it had the feel of an old ski shop where the focus was on skiing not pushing a sale.

I just wanted to thank Paul for going above and beyond to satisfy a customer. He posted what could be the last karakoram split 30 crampon in the world to me. He satisfied all of my requirements before the sale and posted the same day overseas. Fantastic service guys - ride on.

I needed to rent an AT setup for my first skinning adventure. The guys at Cripple Creek not only pulled my setup, they took the time to show me how to put on and take off the skins, how to work the boots, how to click into the skis, and how to switch the boots and bindings between up and downhill modes. No one could believe (when I told them at the TOP of the climb) that this was my first ever time in the backcountry. Thank you, Cripple Creek!!

Big shout out to CCBC Carbondale! Doug and crew went the extra mile to get me set up on the right gear for my new touring set up. First, they didn't have the pair of boots I wanted in the store, so they had them overnighted from the front range and they were in the store the next day! They then got me fitted with a heat moldable liner and next got me set up with a great demo so I could figure out which set up I wanted. When it was time to make the purchase they had everything mounted and ready to go in less than 24 hours! They have also been super friendly and responsive to support any needs I have with my new skis. Super happy with the five star customer service and knowledge that these guys have. Happy turns, think snow!

Well, I ordered skis that your website said were in stock. I received an email confirmation of the order and my credit card was charged but then three days later I got an email saying the skis were out of stock and you would have to order from the manufacturer in two weeks. I realize that these errors can occur and I hope it all works out, but I'm disappointed. Credit card should not have been charged until stock was verified!

My first experience with this shop/site is a positive one. I ordered Dynafit bindings from their web site. I then got confirmation that the product had been shipped. About an hour later I got another email telling me that the binding wasn't available, but that they could send me the upgraded version which was quite a bit more expensive, if I was willing to pay the difference. I explained that I had ordered skis from another site that were on the way. I told the customer service agent that I would have simply have ordered wider skis had I known that the bindings weren't available in that size and that I thought they should honor the original order by sending me the upgrade for free. About an hour later I received a message that their customers are their top priority and that they would send the upgraded binding at no additional cost. Obviously they didn't have to do that, but considering they did, it really shows that they stand by their word and treat their customers well. I plan to continue using the Cripple Creek Backcountry site in the future for other backcountry skiing needs.

Called them to ask if they could measure a specific boot dimension for a tricky mount project that I was doing. Forget the name of the guy but he was super helpful and didn't bat an eye at my request.
