Mike went far out of his way to help me with my first backcountry setup! I spent a good hour at the store and I really felt like he had my best interests in mind. Bonus perk - he and Alli are super friendly and easy to chat with.

Awesome and really knowledgeable staff helped me put together a full package for my wife's first experience with alpine touring. Also hooked me up with a great new kit as well. Even though we're on the east coast, they took care of everything we needed and worked with me on the back and forth to get everything perfectly dialed in.

Ordered some crampons at a discounted price. It turns out my color was not in stock, so they emailed to confirm if I wanted another color or cancel the order, so I took another color. Great communication and fast shipping. Very pleased with the product.

Cannot say enough about this great shop. Placed my order for two complete split board set ups and these guys worked hard to be the best customer service that I've experience in the outdoor industry in my 20+ years of buying gear. Also, they wasted no time in shipping, from purchase order to unboxing in my garage was under tow weeks! I even got a personal phone call about a color choice for a binding. Very helpful & prompt customer service, even on a Sunday. Great prices and it's awesome that they give discounts for buying multiple items to get a backcountry setup. I have yet to receive my order as I just placed it yesterday, but I expect that to be prompt as well.

I online ordered a pair of discounted Atomic Backland boots from them at a very good price with free shipping. They shipped fast. I ordered on Thursday night and they were delivered Monday morning. The boots looked great except one problem, the lower buckle on one boot was missing. This is the first time I ordered from them so I thought great here comes the “fun” part. I called the Carbondale shop and spoke with Eric. He offer a couple of options including sending them back for repair but fastest and easiest for me was for them to ship a new buckle. The new buckle was in the mail in less than an hour, it was the right buckle, the fix was easy and it was fast. How a company deals with a problem is the real test and they passed with flying colors. I've never visited the shop in person, but Cripple Creek BC has a huge selection of everything you need to get into the backcountry! Ordered a new setup online from them and they even offered to mount them in their shop before shipping. They also put out a fantastic podcast.

Oh man, don't normally leave reviews - but these guys are awesome. Paul helped me pick out a sweet setup for the kind of skiing I'm looking for and was beyond patient and helpful with my plethora of questions and deliberations. Phenomenal service, super friendly, 10/10 highly recommend.

Have only bought from the online store, but they always seem to have rare touring gear in stock when it's sold out everywhere else. Shipping has been fast. When needed to contact customer support, they were quick to reply and address the issue.
