What an amazing place! I absolutely love everything about it. The decor along with being in an old church just adds so much. The food was delicious! I also had the Choir Boy latte, and coming from a barista, it was fabulous! Tommy waited on us. He did very well and was very personal and on top of things. One of the owners even walked around checking on customers. I can not say enough goods things.

This was a surprise to find such a unique and classy place on our Sand Dunes trip. The food was consistently good for our party of four who all ordered different entrees, and the family-style salad was high quality! One of our party described the space as “people sized,” which captured the intimate space nicely. We were also met with lovely hospitality. A must for anyone who likes classic Italian American fare done well.

As I walked in the music was blaring opera could’ve sworn I was at an Italian funeral home. A nice soft rainy jazz music would’ve been the idea for the type of ambiance presented. The wait staff was very nice. The wine list definitely needs improvement with more options for by the glass then just a cheap Rosé that cost $9 for a 6oz glass. Salad was good but not enough for two. Entree portions were really small for the price. I didn’t even get to take leftover and for me paying such a high price you would expect larger food portions. I ordered spegetti and did not leave a good impression. Sauce was very basic with no meat optimal meat would of costed additional $$.
I’m very well traveled and this place has a way to go as compared to other Italian restaurants I’ve visited in this country. At the rate this restaurant is going with high prices and because of the area (Alamosa), where it’s at, it won’t last too long.
I sure hope the owner reads this and makes improvements.

So good! The eggplant parm is delicious. I will be going back while I am in town even if it is just for the salad and bread. Full disclosure: the owner and I have known each other for years. That said, I could have just “forgot” to review if it was subpar. It wasn’t!!

Great food and atmosphere. The wine selection definitely needs improvement. Only two options by the glass and PRICEY! would visit more often if that was improved. I would even be happy with the black box brand of wine. They're really decent and don't go bad fast. Just have some more options.

Love the ambiance. Menu pricey as is wine selections. In order for Alamosa to host such a sweet dining experience, needs to be more affordable. Hope some adjustments can be made. Would love to see everyone enjoy Italian dining. At $83.00 for two and with healthy budgets, not a regular stop🥲

We were visiting from out of state and chose the Friars Fork for dinner after a quick Google search. We were hopeful based on the reviews, but still were surprised by the exceptional quality of the meal we enjoyed. My wife ordered the special, Butternut Squash Ravioli, while I ordered the Chicken Marsala. Both dishes were delicious, maybe the best of each we have ever had.
