A very interesting restaurant. It is clear they put a lot of work into keeping the character of the Church when renovating for the restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the drink menu is a lot of fun.

Very cool place. You feel right at home and the aromas of Italian cooking pull you in from across the street. Staff are professional and polite putting you at ease immediately. Food was excellent with a solid wine list if you are purchasing by the bottle. Wine selection by the glass is very limited. We are front out of town and visited based on Sherry from All4paws - she was spot on. Wish we had a Friars in Frisco Texas. We’d be regulars!

We are here yesterday and the food was excellent, authentic Italian. Service was good as well. We will be returning for sure!!!

What a great restaurant with separate bar/lounge (The Sanctuary) that is also a coffee bar.
Wonderful atmosphere and excellent food. The waitstaff are all so enthusiastic and enjoyable. Our waiter, Tommy, really made our experience memorable. The Sanctuary is cozy and inviting—a perfect place to enjoy a drink with friends and family. We highly recommend both Friar Fork and the Sanctuary and look forward to returning.

We love coming here… at least once a week! Their espresso is the best in the Valley - great for a morning jolt. Their cocktails are tasty and well mixed and presented. Dinner is fantastic! The Alfredo sauce is light and refreshing, but my favorite is the lamb risotto. The decor and atmosphere honor the church that was here for so long and makes for a great mood. The staff is incredibly friendly and wonderfully attentive!

A truly sublime eating experience! Everything runs like a finely tuned engine. The serving staff was efficient, knowledgeable and very pleasant. The kitchen, which is partially visible, works quickly and smoothly to produce delicious meals quickly. For a new restaurant to be this good so soon speaks to the expertise of the owners. The food is fresh and flavorful. Dessert was delicious as well. The wine offerings are very nice. What a great addition to the Alamosa dining list. This hidden gem won’t be hidden for long!

Great food. Nice menu! Lovey staff and design. Such a great vibe here. I loved the food. You could tell there was some attention to the dishes and everything came out hot.

I think there could have been some more texture variances to some of the dishes. And the pasta was missing something, maybe it was not hand made? Either way thats me just being picky and I loved everything I had.

Thanks much for the service!

Best tiramisu. The coctaiks are a bit pricy, and the wine selection leaves room for improvement. The food, however, quite pleasant!

We were in town for two nights and discovered this gem through Google. We ended up eating there both nights. Food, service and atmosphere were excellent and the prices very reasonable. They also have very good expresso which can be hard to find in many restaurants. The owners are a husband and wife. The wife trained at the Culinary Institute of America in NY and it is obvious that she knows her way around in the kitchen.
